Joe Biden says the president of the United States is preparing to take "executive actions" to deal with guns.
BuzzFeed reports:
Vice President Biden told White House allies in the gun control fight Thursday that President Obama will be announcing new executive actions on gun violence in the days after the Senate voted down a gun violence bill.
On a conference call with "stakeholders," Biden told gun control advocates that the fight is not over and that eventual action on gun control will come. Press were not invited to the conference call; a participant provided BuzzFeed with access.
"Look I know you're going to say that I'm just being an optimist and I'm trying to put a good face on this. But you know I've been around here a long time and we've already done, because of you, some really good things," Biden said. "Number one, the president is already lining up some additional executive actions he's going to be taking later this week."

Do you really think that this bunch in congress has the stones to even mention impeachment?
I doubt it.
Well nobody has lifted a finger to stop him yet. What on earth would make him think anyone will stop him going forward (pardon pun).
Talk is cheap. It’s been waaay past the just talking stage for some time now. Getting close to the “put up or shut up (or you will be shut up)” point.
Wouldn’t EOs be better since they go away with the President whereas a bill is forever. Heck as disorganized as the federal government is, these EOs will not eve be implemented by the time Obama leaves.
I’m from Kansas. If Congress paased a law we were going to hold the Feds accountable if they tried to override our 2nd Amendment rights. If some excutive action comes down it is lock and load time.
Any EO by the POTUS has no authority over me.
There are a lot of things that he could do by EO that wouldn’t be writing new laws, but which could make the situation unbearable for shooters.
The supreme leader is trying to save face.
And now, especially after losing - if there are things he can do without Congress, why didn't he do them?
There are things he could do, too. The feds prosecute a minute fraction of felony possesion charges. He can order the DOJ to prosecute them.
He's a giant nothing burger.
Here we go.
Will he just EO the ban?
If Hussein actually tries to enact gun control through any EO type orders, and Congress doesn’t stand up to him for this, and we don’t stand up to them all, it really is over. He will have usurped the role of Congress and the judiciary both. The state, it will be Hussein. I wouldn’t think they’d all just stand aside for this, but who can say after everything we’ve seen?
Impeach the bastard!!!!!!
Biden: ‘The President Is Already Lining Up Some Additional Executive Actions’ for Guns
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well, DUH! I read the comments and frankly, I’m surprized no one else has commented on the fact that B. Hussein has already put into play the means to grab guns if legal means didn’t work.
Doesn’t anyone else remember how Homeland Security is stockpiling millions of guns, weapons, ammo, drones and more?
3 guesses as to what they plan to do with this.
We need a new law that says we must obey all of the other laws. That should fix it.
Congress will do nothing... They will be absolutely crucified in the press if they oppose him and he knows it.
Are we still in America?
Welcome to post-constitutional America.
We are going to find that is going to be the ONLY workable solution to dealing these MarxoFascists.
And if we don’t, sometime soon - in a misery none of can yet imagine, we are all going to wish someone had at least tried - when there was still a chance to stop what they are going to achieve.
