After being carried through the streets of London in a flag-draped coffin aboard a gun carriage, former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher was laid to rest this morning in St. Paul's Cathedral. But the big story of the day wasn't Maggie. No, it was a 19-year-old Texan who stole the show from the deceased Iron Lady.
With a poise reminiscent of the elder Thatcher, Amanda Thatcher, Margaret's granddaughter, delivered a reading from Epistles that has the British media agog. Amanda, who lives with her mother in Texas, chose a rather militant passage that calls on believers to "put on the whole armour of God."

Cannot tell you how proud I am to see Margaret Thatcher's granddaughter lives in Texas. Chokes me up.
What the hell? I have to sign up? no thanks
Seriously, don’t you think it was an answer to the family’s prayers that they didn’t have to deal with a representative of the White House?
Maybe she or her brother will be interested in saving our country one day.
Amanda seems to have inherited her grandmother’s constitution.
I’m glad that no 0bama pigs soiled Baroness Thatcher’s services.
In a wholesome sort of way.
Good job Amanda...Bless you and your family.
Thanks for a fine reading of the Good Word.

Looking through the unusually blurry laptop screen, she looks not guilty.
Bless you, Miss Thatcher, and your brother, Michael. Beautiful reading and choice of reading.
Bump!
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand . 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:Ephesians 6:11-17 (King James Version)
Yes, When Amanda read here scripture Obozo could not have withstood the heat. He is a servant of the “father of Lies”. She is a servant of Christ.
Thanks for another of those “You May Have A Virus on Your Computer” website.
I was hoping for more of a 'twang to her accent, but she's overcome that part of being Texan.
God bless the entire family.
