The new 'Man of Steel' trailer just went up...great moment between Kevin Costner and a young Clark Kent, and you feel the impact from your speakers as Superman pounds Zod (?) across the skies over Metropolis. People that wanted action after the last one look like they are in for a treat!

It’s early, but fan reaction seems to be overwhelming positive. I haven’t been to a theater in some time, but I may make an exception for this one.

I see that Perry White will now be black. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but will we ever see Justin Bieber portray Michael Jackson in a movie? I’d be stunned to see that — things don’t work that way: it would be racist.

I read somewhere that Zod’s female companion (pictured in your post) was engineered from birth to kill...made me wonder if that is her Superman is beating the daylights out of at the end of the trailer...

I have little faith in Snyder. Please tell me it isn’t the emo-Supes the other trailers have portrayed. This one does have me thinking it might not suck.

Snyder is not to everyone’s taste, but I like his stuff a lot. Hard to tell from the trailer, but this movie seems pretty straightforward and may be missing some of Snyder’s quirkiness. That may lead to higher profitability, I suppose.
