True, but there could also be heavier electrical activity there.. Media electrical equipment; Spark to gas.. You’re probably right though.. Looks off to the side, perhaps bomb in trash can or inside a building close to sidewalk. That was a large blast, no doubt about that.
Everything is going to look like a bomb for a while.

Aha, 4 hours in. So these are the people who just wanted to finally run a marathon. And their families. Sad.
Stuff didn’t appear to be shredded which would indicate a shrapnel-based bomb.
It looks like the explosions were timed for when the largest number of runners were reaching the finish line.
Right on the 4-hour mark of the marathon... was it on the hour, even? That might tend to suggest devices on a timer, rather than manually detonated.

Fox 25 Boston: Witnesses reported hearing two explosions on the north side of Boylston Street near the photographer bridge just before 3 p.m. Fox 25’s Maria Stephanos reported that the explosion appeared to come from the inside of a building, rather than on the street. Video from SkyFox showed blood on the ground near the finish line. A Fox 25 photographer at the scene reported seeing a number of victims with lost limbs. Reuters was reporting that the Boston Marathon headquarters was in lockdown. It was not immediately known how many people were injured or the extent of their injuries.The Boston Marathon was suspended.
Yup....too early to tell. Lot’s of people blown apart according to Boston news. Many dead.

LOL, no, just didn’t go this year, was on vacation. He was throwing a big fit when the NYC marathon was cancelled because he had invested so much in planning. I figured he would have been at this.
