(CNSNews.com) – If you sell a gun to your son, “there’s something wrong with your family," says New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
In a radio appearance on Friday, Bloomberg, a gun control activist and co-chair of Mayors Against Illegal Guns, praised the legislation that is now moving forward in the Senate. The bill would require universal background checks for most sales of firearms, including those online and at gun shows.
“The only thing it would not cover is if you sold a gun to your son, for example,” Bloomberg told radio host John Gambling. “Number one, I don't know how we would ever enforce that if it were the law. So to make a big deal about that's carved out, so what? It doesn't change anything.”

Must be something really wrong with me then,you see we didn’t sell any gun we gave both our boys guns for Christmas when they were young around nine..Then they were taught to use them.. ..Neither boys went out to a school to murder a thing..they are law abiding citizens..You see both grew up and became a police officer..I am very proud of the three of my children,I have a beautiful daughter as well,now she followed her dreams and became an artist.. They were raised to praise the Lord and thank him for everything..not raised to ask for hand outs and commit crimes..

I am about to give my daughter a hand gun for concealed carry and give my son his first rifle.
So Bloomy may have point, just not the one he was trying to make.

I have given my sons lots and lots of guns. Squirt guns, glue guns, dart guns, Lego guns, tape guns, nail guns, and other toy guns. Why is any of that the government’s business?
As a side note, I am curious if teachers are allowed to possess hot glue guns in zero tolerance schools.
