Please sure all your friends in every State see these names. The vote and the bill is a matter of public record.
Over the weekend, we came four votes away from the United States Senate giving our Constitutional rights over to the United Nations. In a 53-46 vote, the senate narrowly passed a measure that will stop the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.
The Statement of Purpose from the bill read:
“To uphold Second Amendment rights and prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.”
The U.N. Small Arms Treaty, which has been championed by the Obama Administration, would have effectively placed a global ban on the import and export of small firearms. The ban would have affected all private gun owners in the U.S., and had language that would have implemented an international gun registry on all private guns and ammo.
Astonishingly, 46 of our United States Senators were willing to give away our Constitutional rights to a foreign power.

Burr voted Yea. Looks like it was straight down party lines.
The vote is after the comma, then it lists the next senator. It is displayed poorly here.
I just hit “abuse” on my post #5 ... I have it wrong.
I believe it was a non-binding resolution. A treaty requires 2/3 of senators present to vote to ratify.
Yea is a Nay to Not Enter Treaty. Makes perfect sense for D.C.
In the alphabetical list Udall-CO is listed as a Yay and in the list by position Udall-CO is listed as a Nay. WTF? Are these lists accurate at all?
Yea was to adopt the resolution. Nay was to reject it.
Thanks onyx. Two votes ... First vote on filibuster yea or nay. Second vote ... yea or nay on resolution. Resolution requires a yea vote to vote nay to not enter into treaty. Confusion galore.
I’m still wrong ... very probable. D.C. pulls votes like this all the time. Confusing even those voting.
ONe of my Senators, Chambliss, did. He’s retiring.
Vote is confusing. A NAY vote signified an unwillingness to stop treaty. A YEA vote was a vote to stop the treaty. The 46 NAY votes in favor of the treaty were alll Dims. No Republicans voted in favor of the treaty. If I counted correctly 8 Dims also voted to stop the treaty.

They need to get it right.
America is the leader of the developed world.
The UN is a bunch of backwards Muslim, OIC communists and tyrants.
And we are going to bow to them cuzz they know better? Most of them know nothing of the development of the western world. The bulk of them are bitter and jealous of the US, just like the pResident of the US of A.
The time has come, the hell with anything resembling PC.

I am guessing it is a good thing he is retiring
but I wonder why he or any of them thought this was a good thing
why would we ever cede anything to the UN?
