Ann is a person I used to like. Ann is a person I used to respect. Her comments are offensive and nasty. She should be ashamed.

Thatcher’s dementia was very far advanced by the time anyone heard of Palin.

This is either satire or it’s Coulter who is just getting senile.

I like Ann but her view of certain people is rather idiosynchratic. She is smart, but she tends to misjudge people for some reason. It is some kind of weird blind spot.

I like Palin a lot. Sarah is Sarah. She is principled and she is a fighter. If Ann is looking for her to be a Romney or a Christy, she’ll have to wait a long time.

I'm not going to the link, but if Colter said this it's only because she's jealous of Palin and is worried by her (Colter’s) increasing irrelevance.

I’ll take the earthy no-nonsense straight talk of Sarah Palin over the disingenuous inflated grandiose verbiage of most politicians any day of the week.

Sarah Palin is quite well spoken

Let’s be honest. And not fool ourselves. Thatcher indeed had it all together, sharp and witty and eloquent while Palin does indeed seem rather ditzy. She even has the look.

Not saying she’s not a good conservative or person or basically smart, just that she really truly does not stack up to a woman like the Iron Lady. In a debate she’d be sliced and diced. It’s like Bush vs. Reagan.

Ha, ha, ha. I'm guessing the FRee Republic whiny bunch will be all over Ann on this. Of course they were praising her and attacking me a couple of days ago when i said her SECOND long article about the American murderess in Italy was a waste of time. Where do you guys stand on this ?

So far as I can ascertain, the only truth here is that Palin's people contacted Thatcher's about a possible meeting when Palin was planning to visit Britain and they didn't get it.

It's not so hard to understand an 85-year old in poor health wanting to avoid too many meetings with new people.

Everybody hijacked the story to prove their own point and if Ann didn't do that herself, she fell for people who did.

Coulter is an elitist snob about a lot of things. Palin has always been one of them.

Ann Coulter regurgitates the leftist meme that Sarah Palin is ‘stupid’ and she does it in an underhanded way, heaping praise on Palin while making it plain that the former Alaska governor needed ‘help’ in articulating her views and learning how to speak like a proper politician. The condescension is palpable - and offensive. Alleged conservative Ann Coulter using the death of Margaret Thatcher to get in a cheap shot at Sarah Palin is disgusting. This latest comment, along with Coulter’s quixotic pimping of quasi-liberal New Jersey Governor Chris Christie as the 2012 GOP presidential nominee, has rendered Ann Coulter’s political observations basically useless and raises the question, who’s side is she on, anyway?

What a maroon, that Coulter chick.

Seems she has been taken in by all the Leftist (the Guardian) and RINO (list your own favourites) propaganda. Let's use the memory-bank that is the Internet and go back to 2011 when Palin was "snubbed" by Thatcher, or was she?

Margaret Thatcher did not ‘snub’ Sarah Palin: The truth about the Iron Lady and the former Governor of Alaska

The author of the piece, Nile Gardiner, was a former aid to Lady Thatcher. He writes:

I have spoken to Lady Thatcher’s Private Office regarding the story, and they confirm that the attack on Sarah Palin definitely did not come from her office, and in no way reflects her views. ...... She has always warmly welcomed like-minded figures in the United States, and has in the past met with numerous US presidential candidates and political dignitaries when they have visited London. But at the age of 85 she is now able to receive very few visitors at all. There was never any snub of Sarah Palin by Lady Thatcher’s office. However, there has been a great deal of mischief-making and unpleasantness from sections of the liberal press in a vain and futile attempt to use Margaret Thatcher’s name to smear a major US politician.

Care to try again, Ann?

Hey Dimwit, Lady Thatcher’s Alzheimer’s was well advanced by the time Palin came around.
