Section 13 of the North Carolina constitution prohibits this. Therefore the state supreme court should nullify it.

Background checks are totally worthless, just liberal feelgood nonsense. If a criminal is not legally allowed to own a firearm he’ll just go down to the ‘hood, or the trailer park, or the bodega, and buy one anyway. The black market is still thriving, and always will be.

In early feudalism, it was pretty close. Feudal society was just gangs of armed men holding strong points. Most realized they needed serfs to grow food for them and their horses, so they had to protect their property (serfs) that were bound to the land. They had almost no restraints on their actions.
During the late medeival period, the church had some influence, but not very much.

He set out to lead a great crusade for gun control and ended up the best friend the gun industry ever had. So he just moved the game into the UN. It never ends.

I agree and the 2014 elections are going to be ... interesting. Voting machines, same day registration, mail in ballots, no id checks, crooked AGs, corrupt precinct captains. What could go wrong?

Maybe a knowledgable 10th Amendment supporter can explain why the 10th Amendment doesnt apply to the States on the issue of gun control. That argument raged on FR a while back. Some argue for full restoration of 10th, the other group argued that the 14th gave the right back to the people.
In the end it doesnt matter, it only matters what laws they choose to enforce and what they choose to ignore.

To those who are decrying whats happened in CT, NY and CO, I would say wait until next year. Those state legislatures are going to get their collective pee pees whacked by the voters or the courts, or both!It won't matter unless the laws they passed are repealed, otherwise those Democratic losses will just be viewed as "collateral damage" by the Left and in a few years they'll be back in power to further chip away at what's left.

by Nov. 2014 they may have bled out if they don't do something to staunch it soon. And there is no chance in he77 that Obama can get re-elected.I myself said that a card board cutout could win (on second thought that one may have been right) Freepers thought for years that both the Clinton's would wind up in jail, but alas, didn't happen.
We are up against a very powerful enemy, most don't recognize who it is.

Background checks are totally worthless, just liberal feelgood nonsense. They get fees every time you buy a weapon. You buy one today and come back next week and pay i all over again. It is a tax source.
