Outrageous!… Dem Rep. Degette Mocks Senior Citizen – Says “You’d Probably Be Dead Anyway” if

On Tuesday night The Denver Post editorial board hosts a public forum on gun legislation at the national level. U.S. Reps. Diana DeGette and Ed Perlmutter, State Sen. Kevin Lundberg, and Larimer County Sheriff Justin Smith are among the scheduled panelists. During the question and answer period a concerned Denver citizen asked Democratic Representative DeGette how he was supposed to defend himself under the new Colorado gun laws. DeGette smirked and mocked the senior citizen saying,

“The good news for you, you live in Denver. The Denver PD would be there within minutes. (laughing) You’d probably be dead anyway.”

Really? That’s the Democratic response to concerned homeowners? To mothers? To seniors protecting their homes? “You’d probably be dead anyway.”

I wonder why no one seems to have highlighted a few of the genius remarkls by Dungheap Harkin, Leaky Leahy, John Conyers, Alcee Hastings, Turbin Durbin, Maxipad Watters, or Elijah Cummings? I suppose they're protected by political correctness for their gaffs. Even more reason to ask 'How the hell are such stupid people continuing to be elected over and over again?'

And of course the answer is multifaceted, with stupid electorate and massive vote fraud at the head of the list.

1996 Longtime First District Congresswoman Pat Schroeder chose not to run for a 13th term in 1996, which prompted DeGette to run. Her principal opponent in the 1996 primary election was former City Council member Tim Sandos, whom Denver Mayor Wellington Webb endorsed shortly before the primary. DeGette won the primary with 55 percent of the vote, all but assuring her of election in the heavily Democratic district (the 1st District has been in Democratic hands for all but six years since 1933). Schroeder, who stayed neutral during the primary, endorsed DeGette once DeGette became the Democratic nominee. DeGette won with 57 percent and has been reelected seven times since.

I was married to a dyed int he wool liberal democrat and there is nothing that could awaken her to reality. I also have a first cousin who occasionally stays with me when he's back East, and he is another blind liberal despite being a degreed man with decades of high stakes business world living. Liberalism truly is a disease which as yet has no cure. Yet another reason to believe this nation will collapse into starvation, disease, murder, and mayhem when the economy collapses.

I liken it to the current fedzilla buying of multi-year supplies of bullets, etc. Someone directing them knows there is a date certain beyond which they will not be able to resupply for a few years, so they are stocking up now. And even with that evidence starring folks int he face, they refuse to see what the purchases evidence.

Have you ever seen queen sheila’s district map? It is a “tighter C” than the braids in her hair. If redistricting was ever done by using squares that started at the state capitol and went out in 90º lines (or something similar) to include the number of people in the state divided by the number of reps for the state, Texas would not have her or lord dog nuts.

Most of those districts are affirmative action districts. I resent them as much as I do the dims that created them when they were in power here. That was years ago, but some districts still remain as dust from the way back when time. We finally had districts reset last legislative session, but the blanking dims challenged them in court.

I can't really trust anyone with a "D" after their name although there are some "R's" I apply that logic to, but the former is a given. I know the last election has caused huge splits in family and friendships, I even had a dyed in the wool lib who unfriended me after 40 years (ever since I was 6 years old) because he and I go into a hot debate on Facebook. I asked him simply, "instead of calling Romney names, give me a concrete reason why Obama is right or better." He never answered. Then again there is a family feud between him and his baby sister, I'm friends with her too so that's another factor.

We need to practice triage here, some we can save, many we cannot. I once heard a young man, he had many tattoos, even though he was on the fence, he hated Obamacare with a passion. I talked to him about it more in depth and I think I really got him thinking. We need to work with those that have that potential.

If we ever get our national borders sealed and secured (and that's a big if), the states might want to start sealing their borders to keep garbage like Degette from moving in with all their commie lib bull****. Surely anybody raised in Colorado would not "evolve" into a commie/Nazi 'RAT.

I feel sorry for the good people of Colorado but the same kind of BS is occuring here in Arizona. Out of state garbage being exported into Arizona by the DNC and their toady thugs in the labor unions.
