The Red Line runs from the crime ridden neighborhoods of the South Side, to and through the downtown business/entertainment/dining/tourist district and up through the North side, a residential area inhabited by decent people who go to work every day.

And people wonder why I don't want to see a rail system to go from Detroit through Inkster to Ann Arbor.

Built a Greenway in Indy that runs from the heart of gangland to some nice upper class suburbs. A easy gateway for the reprobates. Crime in the northern suburbs served by the trail has increased as has crime on the trail. Now they want to build mass transit to facilitate the movement of crime even quicker to the suburbs. We’re fighting it, but the powers that be with the financial backing of the feds are pushing hard.
