Nearly 30 people were arrested downtown on Saturday night for disturbances that ranged from bumping into passersby on sidewalks to attacking passengers aboard a CTA train, authorities said, citing preliminary information.
Seventeen of the people in custody -- all but two younger than 18 -- were charged with misdemeanor reckless conduct, said Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro.
Those arrests happened on the Magnificent Mile near North Michigan Avenue and East Erie Street between...

I’m amazed that the Obamedia covered it at all. They usually try to keep the sheeple clueless about such things.
look at those kids, they think it is funny, they think it is sport..........
Now, it's: "The just barely adequate Mile".
In 1962, a classical psychology experiment put too many rats in a limited area, overpopulation, where they developed all sorts of antisocial and destructive behaviors. It is called the “behavioral sink experiment”.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Behavioral_sink
However, there has been no experiment conducted with rats, to determine how rats raised in an antisocial environment behave with rats who were raised in a social environment.
This is essential for another reason. Children who are raised by a heterosexual married couple are raised in a “success” track, oriented to improving their lives; whereas children who are raised by a single parent are raised in a “survival” track, which means they are 60% more likely to criminally offend.
Likewise, “survival track” children will affiliate with each other as a better survival strategy, affiliations that are sub-tribal, like street gangs. That is, such children are so socially devolved that their group aspiration is to become a tribe, even though tribalism is at the very low end of social order.
In situations where social people are in the proximity of the antisocial, while the antisocial group will be able to attack or even kill an individual, with any organization, the social people will quickly crush the antisocial group, unless they make an effort to not do so.
On the grand scale, this is why civilization almost invariably defeats barbarism, unless that civilization has so eroded from within that it is near spontaneous collapse.
On the lesser scale, it describes what happened to Detroit, and what is happening to Chicago and a few other places that are surrendering civility to the law of the jungle.
I was, just yesterday morning, pondering on the type of summer we might see. Where i live, people are avoiding the downtown area after dark and all of the parks because of the new Amish game, “Knockout”. With luck we’ll see this thing spin hopelessly out of control in a spiral escalation into daily scenes of flash mob violence in Chicago and other metro areas.
The Chicago youths have a unique opportunity to shut down all of Chicago. When the rest of the nation recognizes a trip to Chi-Town has real risk, they WILL quit coming. That could not be glossed over or ignored by the MSM.
Wow. I like that!
Weren't those lost in a fishing accident?
Amish again?
I think the idea that Rahm and Obama have is to destory Chicago first, as a blueprint for the country. With the help of the “church-social justice/community organizing “ organizations they have stirred up a nasty hornets nest of people ready for civil disobedience.
I can think of several cities including Chicago that should be walled off and starved to death.

I actually felt sorry for the news reporter. You could see on her face that this was shameful and depressing to her.
I work in the financial district (Jackson @ LaSalle) and I have to say, I wouldn't recommend staying there either. Ok during the day, not at night. Too many "homeless" move in after 6pm and some are rather aggressive.
Any questions as to why the Left wants to disarm lawful citizens? Anybody?
I thought nobama’s kids were on yet another expensive vacay at our expense?
You know, that’s an accurate summary of this country’s last 50 years. Well done.
I rode the trains in Chicago through the southside when I was 8 years old by myself. Now, I wouldn’t get on with my CC on me after the dinner hour. Lawless bastards rule Chicago.
They did a big one - they called it "busing". :)
