Nearly 30 people were arrested downtown on Saturday night for disturbances that ranged from bumping into passersby on sidewalks to attacking passengers aboard a CTA train, authorities said, citing preliminary information.
Seventeen of the people in custody -- all but two younger than 18 -- were charged with misdemeanor reckless conduct, said Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro.
Those arrests happened on the Magnificent Mile near North Michigan Avenue and East Erie Street between...

Fella Dancerella and his police chief (rabid anti-2A political hack) Garry McCarthy have neither the will, nor probably the means, to control the Amish youth of Chicago.
Anyone care to play “Guess The Skin Color”?
It doesn’t matter unless they are willing to prosecute and actually hand out ten to twenty year sentences. This one-year and out scheme....doesn’t work.
QUICK! take all the guns from law abiding citizens.

Wow!
When I go to Chicago I almost always stay at one of the Marriott properties on the Magnificent Mile!
Well, looks like it is the Financial District from here on out...
I just watched and, sure enough, it was those pesky Amish!
Well, the people of Chicago have one bit of undeniable luck. They have a mayor who cares.
HEY!
Ya elect RATs, ya get up with fleas.
My thoughts exactly. Why even bother to arrest these little punks? Wrist slap, don’t do it again and we’ll see you at the midnight basketball game sure doesn’t seem to work very well. Maybe they should track the names and see which ones end up shot within the next year. Not that they could be in a town where guns aren’t allowed. Nice way to celebrate Easter huh? Of course maybe they were just trying to meet new and interesting people. Were any assault rifles confiscated?
Come Visit and Spend Money in Chicago....NOT!
Even you correctly guess the skin color, what’s your point? You think they suddenly behave well when they’re at home? Our system of helping the poor hasn’t helped. We now have generations of Dem voters who vote to give away money with no accountability. Half do it out of guilt and the other have think they’re “entitled” to it. While the wolves figure out how to spend the working sheep’s money, the kids grow up with no education, no future, and little sense of self-worth.
The citizens of Chicago think this is OK so they won’t vote their loser leadership out of office. Don’t work, spend your money in, or live in Chicago (or anywhere in IL).
They have this simmering rage when they are not even hungry.
Wait until their EBT cards flash ERROR and die.
Um, aren’t those owned by king hussein’s gal pal and marxanista penny pritzker? Maybe it’s hyatt. Anyway, I’d avoid chi-town if I could.
LBJ declared war on pverty and lost. Barack Obama declared war on prosperity and won.

FWIIU, Marriott has been owned by the Marriott family since inception.
I have over 2 milion points and 1500 nights — I am Platinum for life so I’ll be staying there no matter who owns it.
Just for reference here...gang bangers in Chicago don’t use assault rifles. They are dedicated pistol-owners. Chicago cops will tell you that Chicago would be going to heck in a hand basket if they ever switched over, but they have no interest in assault rifles. “too much luggage to lug around”.
Avoiding IL. Yup. When we moved from FL to NV we took a northern route but deliberately avoided passing through IL since there “may have been” some items in the trunk that were, let’s say, something you didn’t need to be stopped with in IL.

AND stolen as a tag line!!! (I was even able to fit the attribution in!)
Now if I could only learn to spell poverty.
They are the children and grandchildren of LBJ.
