Poverty pimp Jesse Jackson hung up yesterday morning on Frank Beckman from WJR (Detroit) radio. They were discussing the Emergency Financial Manager appointed by the Governor to try to help Detroit get its finances in order. The financial well-being of its state's cities is a law in the Michigan Constitution.
Jackson came to The D to call for mass civil disobedience to protest Mr. Orr being given the overwhelming and difficult job to try to untangle the mess left by forty or fifty years of corrupt liberal democrats.
The mess in Detroit has been simmering and coming to a boil for decades. Michigan's previous governor, a leftist Democrat was not protested quite so much when this Emergency Financial Manager law was at her disposal.
In discussing bankruptcy vs. an emergency manager for Detroit, Beckman asked Jackson where he was while the leaders in Detroit were filling their pockets via corruption and cronyism--Jackson hung up on him.
BOOM! Just like that, Frank silences the "preacher of poverty" -- it was priceless. Audio is here: Poverty pimp Jesse Jackson just hung up on Frank Beckman from WJR (Detroit) radio.

My how lucrative the Poverty Industry has become!
Does anyone know how much JP Morgan Chase skims off the top from Food Stamp/EBT transactions?
That’s exactly the problem. The poverty pimps and other assorted corruptocrats wanted help for Detroit but they wanted it to come in the form of a blank check made out to them.
Its the same reason they threw a tantrum about the new international bridge. They won’t have control of the money.
And JJ says we need “Public Economic Investment” to solve our problems. That’s so “1950’s Russia”.
Ripping the mask off this self appointed blowhard ... Good for Beckman.
I’m surprised it wasn’t a ‘five year plan’...
