This is a prayer thread for Mesta. I've been on the phone with her for hours today/yesterday (my sense of time is getting a little frassled), and we need a great amount of prayer.
Mesta went down hard a few days ago, I was on the phone when it happened and I heard her hit the floor and scream, then a bunch of running, slamming doors and chaos before the line went dead.
It was a couple of days before I was able to get her status and got my proper links to her hospital, and it doesn't look good. If she survives this time, she's going home to a cold house, at the edge of eviction, dragging an oxygen tank. She has a sort of a seal-team medical coverage, but no pension whatsoever. As for now, they're still doing tests, there's a team of doctors working on her and she's in and out of consciousness much of the time.

ML, I consider it a miracle just to be here right now. I sure didn’t think I was gonna be, but I think G-d must not be done with me yet.

Thank you. It has been forever thus. I see no need to stop now...or ever. I am blessed by every moment G-d has seen fit to allow me. People get angry at G-d when things go wrong, but I have always believed that there is a reason for eveything and who am I to question wisdom far greater than I possess?

RedMDer, there are many people right here on FR who are in need of prayer and I extend mine to all of them and hopefully our collective prayers rhat we offer up every single day do not ever fall on deaf ears. Free Republic is one of the most special families on earth and I believe that G-d knows us ad hears us each and every one.

Vast understatement. There are a handful of people that really bump FR up to the next level. You Mesta have always been one of those. Hate it that you are so sick and prayers are up. Get well soon.
