Call it Michael Moore's Jesse Jackson moment . . . Jackson once famously said that when he walked down the street and heard footsteps behind him, he was relieved to turn around and find a white person behind him.

This evening, on Ed Schultz's soon-to-be-extinct weeknight MSNBC show, a histrionic Michael Moore accused white gun owners of racism . . . then proceeded to say it was reasonable for them not to be afraid of their white neighbors . . . and admitted he felt more comfortable walking down the streets of Toronto than Detroit.

Most Conservatives (and people under 40) I know don’t event think about race when dealing with others. It is just Joe or Robert or whomever. The libs always size up demographics, especially older ones. Notice they are the ones always bringing up statements like this.

Many friendships have broken apart due to people supporting Obama just because of ethnicity or race. I would not feel bad for such a loss. Perhaps, your friend will come to her senses some day.

Same thing happened with me and a Black friend of 40 years. I posted a pic of an empty chair on FB and she said I was full of hate and couldn’t be friends with me any longer.

I was very hurt at the time but I’m over it now. Blood runs thicker than water works both ways.
