The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
Everyone knows this but them? They’re living in a basement or something?
“Who you gonna believe, me or your lying eyes?”
OH, I see, This is just a John Kerry Christmas in Cambodia moment.
I know that they consolidated a bunch of agencies into the DHS umbrella. DHS only constitutes a portion of the federal agents employed.
I’d like to know, why in the hell there are 100,000 of them. Not counting FBI, DEA, US Marshals, etc etc.
Like we can believe anything this government says. Geesh. We’re not stupid.
Doesn’t a purchase have to be for a concrete number ? How can the government order “up to” a certain amount over an undefined period ? I don’t know how these things are normally handled, but I am pretty sure it isn’t like that.
The majority of the bullets purchased by the DHS as part of its 2 billion round ammo buying spree were hollow point bullets (one order alone amounted to 450 million of them). Hollow point bullets just happen to be completely unsuitable for training purposes because they cost significantly more money compared to standard firing range bullets. This debunks both the saving money argument and the for training purposes only claim in one fell swoop.

Ask THEM where the ammo is going.
“DHS Denies Massive Ammunition Purchase”
Who cares? Americans have enough ammo to shoot every DHS employee 45,385 times.
Defund the DHS until they start complying with US Law.
So if, say...a group of civilians were to find the location of the 1.6 billion rounds, DHS wouldn’t mind if the civilians walked off with them..since they don’t exist, I mean.
“We don’ no noting ‘bout no bullits.”
I am ready for them. I ordered a door mat that reads, “COME BACK WITH A WARRANT.”
The Cambodians murdered a huge number of their political victims using shovels, pickaxes, and gasoline. Why can't DHS use the same sensible budgeting techniques?
Ammo manufacturers are keeping the ammo off the shelves until they get their price.
This is the best article I’ve seen explaining the truth:
This whole controversy has been the ultimate example of why people shouldn’t talk about things they don’t understand, and they should make the effort to have some level of understanding before they even have an opinion.
Of course the problem is the fairly limited number of people who have an actual understanding of the complexities of government contracting are considered suspect shills by the nutter morons simply because they have an actual understanding of complicated government contracting.
The part of this where people were freaking about the hollow points is the most embarrassing, though. That they are banned in warfare is irrelevant because they aren’t banned in domestic law enforcement and they’ve long been used by domestic law enforcement. People that have a cow about gun grabbers being clueless about guns should know better.
I am NOT posting something I recently heard about but will actually just release this little rumor...
Someone has made comments that several covert ammo storage centers have been found by tracking shipments.
Shipments from a major ammo producer of a caliber specific round to a certain Federal agency.
maybe, just maybe it will hit the web very soon, or it may just be some boastful remarks.

FWIW...On a related topic, I drove past the Armalite and Rock River Arms plants on Wednesday and the parking lot at both facilities was over-flowing with cars, even out onto the street at Armalite. There were no signs at either facility with their name on it. It was sad to see a legal mfg facility have to hide in plain site like that.
