ATK is one company that won a contract with the Department of Homeland Security to provide 450 million rounds of .40 caliber ammunition in 2012.
Last Friday, New Jersey Rep. Leonard Lance (R – 7th District) told constituents that Janet Napolitano must explain to Congress why DHS has purchased 1.6 billion bullets and 2700 armored vehicles for domestic use. The purchase of thousands of fully automatic rifles for he DHS should also be explained.

As far as I’m concerned, the sock-puppet Obambi’s handlers have something horrible planned for middle Americans in a year or so. Something very terrible.
We shouldn’t be surprised at what these thugs will do (or try to do). Obambi’s to stupid on his own to do anything, so his handlers have probably conjured up something to get America in line with their dictatorship. Heaven help us!

Someone here was saying it was silly to be concerned, and that there was a perfectly reasonable justification for these purchases.
Well, are these 2700 APC's for the Marines or are they for the DHS? And is it normal for domestic agencies to buy 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition periodically or not?
