(CNN) -- The first Syrian rebels trained by U.S. military and intelligence officers in Jordan returned to Syria on Thursday, a senior rebel spokesman told CNN.
About 300 rebel fighters received specialized training in Jordan in the use of various weapons, including anti-tank, anti-aircraft and other types of advanced systems, the spokesman said.
More rebel fighters are currently undergoing training.

What difference does it make?
It is not in the national interest, but it is in Obama's. Imam Obama is toppling the secular dictators in the Middle East and North Africa to assemble the Muslim dream of the Greater Caliphate which will then attack Israel.
Obama is losing this proxy war.
Obama provided MANPADS so that the Syrian Army didn’t have air superiority, but the stupid rebels stand in one area with a bunch of machine guns and Snackbar until they get blown up by tanks, mortars, or artillery.
They run into a town that the army has no presence in, say they conquered it, and then get blown up when the army rolls in.
I say keep the Snackbar slaughter going. Less idiots to face later when the Mahdi comes.
Remember watching the daily reports from Libya with imbedded reporters sending out pictures and videos of wild-eyed screaming yutes driving around and firing randomly with their Toyota mounted anti-aircraft guns? Notice you aren’t getting many pictures out of Syria?
They get to send their families here to repopulate Detroit. I thought everyone knew that.

One day we will have to fight those that we are now training.
But vwhy are we training them anyway. Why are we sticking our nos into Syria’s business?
We already gave Egypt to the Christian killers.
Probably keeping the MANPADS to use against infidel airplanes in infidel countries. Beyond insane.
