In this day and age, young adults and tweens are influenced so much by what they see on tv. Disney Channel and Nickelodeon have shown young love on their shows for many years. They show 11 and 12 year olds flirting and wanting to have relationships. That's fine, tweens have crushes too. But all they've ever shown are straight characters, never openly gay ones. By not including gay characters, they're isolating an entire population of children, who look up to people they see on tv. It is shown that most children know by the time they're 4 years old who they're attracted to. Gay kids need a good role model on safe, appropriate channels, to show them that they're not alone, and it's perfectly normal to be feeling what they feel. I would like Disney Channel and Nickelodeon to have at least one main character who identifies as gay on one of their shows. This could save thousands of lives by showing kids they're not alone, and it's about time these networks show gay, as well as straight, relationships.
These people are sick and evil.
get the kids while they are young and brains are full of mush....
They should have flatulent folks represented too.. and folks that pick their noses constantly.. if they truly wish to be more ‘true to life’.
There is a reason that Nick and Disney are locked on our home cable system...
They must ‘get them while they’re young’. Honestly, why do these people insist on destroying a child’s innocence? Kids that young don’t think about sex no matter how much the Left wants to foist that perception onto us. If they HAVE heard about sex, they are usually grossed out. LET THE LITTLE CHILDREN HAVE THEIR INNOCENCE! They will be beaten down by life early enough as it is.
Disney owns ABC, and that seems to be the rule on all ABC and Touchstone-produced prime-time comedies.
this is nothing more than conditioning for molesters advocacy. if this were not tv, it would immediatly be called a criminal act and prosecuted.

This is part of the pro-homosexual propaganda that permeates the media. Children at 4 don't know who they are attracted to. 4 year old boys and girls aren't even attracted to the other sex yet. The deliberate sexualization of children and exposing children to homosexual propaganda is not an accident. It is a plan to create willing young sexual companions to the adult homosexuals who have so much power in the media. It is also a plan to isolate and demonize those who believe in traditional values.

Think about this, Homosexuals make up about 2% of the population. Not ALL homosexuals want to get married, only about 10 to 15% do, so America is suppose to chance thousand of years of history to accommodate between .03% to .02% of the population. Who should determine OUR National Morality the 99.7% or the .03%?
Such a small percentage of the population is gay but they are promoting it everywhere as if it were half. I’ve seen impressionable friends of my kids trying (or claiming) to be gay because they think it’s cool. It’s not ok to mention any opposing values to kids, but it’s mandatory to promote LGBT.

Since only about 2% of the people self-identify as homosexual, they shouldn’t have more than 2% of their characters be gay.
Which means that on a typical show, only 1 out of 50 characters should be gay.
And yet I rarely see a show with more than 10 recurring characters on it where at least one of the characters isn’t gay.
Glee for example, has had at least 6 gay people, although I guess being about glee club, there might be a propensity to have more gays. Degrassi is another show with more gays than you find in the general population.
It’s like they are trying to cement the fiction that 10% of the world is gay.
How many gay congresspeople are there? There may have been 6 so far total. I know gay people, but I bet most of us would find that no more than 1 or 2 people we know are actually gay.
And even when you talk about celebrities, the gay celebrities can almost be named. They are extremely well-known, because they get so much more press. But if you look at a typical movie, and look at all the names on the credits, I bet no more than a couple of the hundred-or-so names are actually gay.
On the other hand, Christians are vastly underrepresented in the media.
There was just that story from Oklahoma, where an 11-year-old nad his younger cousin raped their 6-year-old sister.
That idea comes from a too-early bombardment of sexuality on our pre-pubescent children.
But yes, gays to realize that in order to be a stronger political force, they need more kids to choose to be gay. Because they all know it is a choice, not genetic.
I find it unreasonable to for these homosexuals to advocate an adult behavior being promoted to children. (see criminal act)
There is set level of adult and non-adult viewership. Disney is to be G PG or PG-13 those should be off limits to the deviancy recreuiters. If anything there should be an “H” for v-chip purposes which allows parents to block such sexual content.
Gays control the entire entertainment industry...why do you think all of the celebrities are so pro-gay, anti-Republican...they know if they want to continue working in the business that “to get along, you go along.”
Told my kids, when they came home form middle school asking all about the talk of the hallways, who’s a lesbian, who’s gay, how do they know, and what do I do when they hate me for not being gay?
they don’t know if they’re gay or whatever, sex is for adults and it’s for marriage, so just ignore it.
Got them out of there asap. they are thriving in an environment with boys, girls men and women, learning math, science, classic lit (homer, herodotus, Shakespeare, austen) language, not Spanish, and sports.
They talk about normal sex where appropriate and they learn about decision making, not being thrown o situations too early.
TV is dvr’ed for full control, and there is one tv in the house. internet was allowed at age 13. No facebook no data plan on phone.
I know all parents whose homes they go into. Weird things still happen, but they’re discussed and used as how to deal with really weird stuff after they get out in it and have to discern by themselves.
It’s not that hard to do.
Disney was taken over by the dark side many years ago. the money involved should tell any informed person.
