Mark E. Kelly, gun-control proponent and husband to former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, recently purchased an AR-15 (an "assault weapon," he called it)which he now says he intended as an illustration of the need for more stringent gun laws.
Kelly reportedly bought the AR-15 and a 1911-style semi-automatic pistol at Diamondback Police Supply in Tucson, Arizona.
Various sources contacted Breitbart News once Kelly made the purchase, and after we began investigating the details surrounding the purchase, Kelly announced on his Facebook that he was not going to keep the AR-15, which he has yet to pick up from the store.

If that was true he would have bought it from a private seller at a gunshow, not from a Police Supply Store ("where the gangbangers shop").
He saw it on sale, had a man moment: "shiny".
“I don’t have possession of it yet but I’ll be turning it over to the Tucson PD when I do. “
Why?
He can give it to me if he really doesn’t want it.
I hadn’t thought of that. The PTB aren’t going to go along with that are they?
I fail to see what he intends to prove.
...3) bed-wetting, afraid-of-his-shadow, hypocritical pussy.
Got caught and came up with a thin story to cover it. Typical libs. They don’t want to live by the rules they promote; they just want you to live by them.
forgot “opportunistic”
He is proving that liberals should be on the “do not sell” list for firearms.
He’s saying that since there is no scum lower or more immoral than a hypocrite liberal, this proves that any bad guy can buy a gun.
They are already in the process of banning cars, which kill more people than hammers AND bullets.
Possibly he believes as a democrat he’s not mentally stable and shouldn’t have been sold any weapon. He’s probably saying our background checks are insufficient for not asking if he was a democrat.
Is he a felon? No. Is he lawfully banned from buying a firarm? No.
This is like a 21 yr old exposing how easy it is to buy alcohol.
Back when 911 happened, & the controversy over arming pilots, I was talking to someone who had been in the airline industry. He was talking about a pilot he knew & going off on a rant on how this guy should never be allowed to carry a gun in the plane. Unfortunately, I was polite & didn’t ask what the H*LL a guy like that was doing in charge of hundreds of passengers & a multi-million dollar aircraft. These folks just don’t think.
which he now says he intended as an illustration of the need for more stringent gun laws
Mark Kelly - Look at me! I'm important.
So hes saying that astronauts should be prohibited from buying firearms because theyre unstable?
“Depends”
Probably not, but that would be my defense.
Nice unstable astronaut reference.
Strangely, everything I ever own I will have always owned. I’m a pre-ban man!
