The Washington Post's Bob Woodward ripped into President Barack Obama on "Morning Joe" today, saying he's exhibiting a "kind of madness I haven't seen in a long time" for a decision not to deploy an aircraft carrier to the Persian Gulf because of budget concerns.
"Can you imagine Ronald Reagan sitting there and saying, 'Oh, by the way, I can't do this because of some budget document?'" Woodward said.
"Or George W. Bush saying, 'You know, I'm not going to invade Iraq because I can't get the aircraft carriers I need?'" Or even Bill Clinton saying, 'You know, I'm not going to attack Saddam Hussein's intelligence headquarters,' ... because of some budget document?"
The Defense Department said in early February that it would not deploy the U.S.S. Harry Truman to the Persian Gulf, citing budget concerns relating to the looming cuts known as the sequester.
"Under the Constitution, the President is commander-in-chief and employs the force. And so we now have the President going out because of this piece of paper and this agreement. 'I can’t do what I need to do to protect the country,'" Woodward said. "That’s a kind of madness that I haven't seen in a long time," he said.
Woodward's harsh criticism came after he stirred controversy last weekend by calling out Obama for what he said was "moving the goal posts" on the sequester by requesting that revenue be part of a deal to avert it.

Hmph. He sure doesn’t have any ‘budget concerns’ when it comes to throwing money around on turtle tunnels, frog roads under bridges, or any other kind of excess ‘stimulus’ money.
What a load of malarkey.
He needs to take it up with his comrades in the media. They have helped to create this monster and Woodward talking angrily about it won’t slay or even injure the beast.

I wonder if Woodward and his generation of Journalists are happy with what they have wrought?
Think about it they have exactly the sort of President they have been desiring and in some cases praying for. And NOW they are starting to get second thoughts!
Woodward is ‘laying down cover fire’ for his comrades in media. While he makes noises that sound like the media is waking up, his comrades are fashioning the lext layer of lies in service to their liar-in-chief. Woodward is just as deceitful as the rest of his comrades because he serves ‘higher oligarchs’ who can strip him of wealth and life at a moments notice and he knows it.
Hussein 0bambi is taking orders from the Muslim Brotherhood. But he has to blame something; the budget will do.
The “Low Information Voters” a.k.a. Stupid People who elected him will never hear about this.

That's bullshit, and it's a simple, yet effective political tactic that we've all seen employed time and time and time and time again.

I think I’ve seen this “Sequester” movie before. Only it had a different title — it was called “Prop 2 1/2 Override.”Obama and his common nightwalkers in the media are trotting out the exact same scare tactics that the local teachers’ unions and assorted municipal layabouts have been employing to frighten the bejesus out of taxpayers around here for decades.
It happens every spring. The schools need more money. The voters yawn. The school superintendent ups the ante and says, well, if you don’t give us the extra money then the first thing we’ll have to cut is the high school football team. Followed by the band. Not the third assistant associate deputy senior school superintendent making $120,000, but the football team. Then the selectmen threaten to close a fire station. Or lay off cops. The town dump? No longer open on weekends.
The problem for the hacks is, this shakedown may work the first time, maybe even the second. But as Barack Obama is now complaining privately, eventually the law of diminishing returns sets in. Before he embarked on this latest the-sky-is-falling campaign, perhaps Barack should have consulted with the little boy who cried wolf.

“Madness”,as used by the Brits at least,is meant to suggest mental illness which,all too often,is caused by a brain disorder...a chemical imbalance or structural abnormality of some sort.Osama Obama isn’t “mad”...his brain cells are firing in an entirely normal way.His problem is that he’s a psychopath...utterly devoid of conscience.It’s been suggest by some that Hitler might have had untreated syphilis which,over time,can really scramble the old brain cells.But Osama,like Stalin,Mao,Saul Alinsky and Bill Ayers before him,is just plain evil.Evil to the bone.
Anybody dangerous for Obama will meet the same fate as a one Mr. Andrew Breitbart. Woodward knows this.
