That geographic location will likely prove controversial. Israel seized the Golan Heights in the Six-Day War in 1967 They should make it less "controversial" by seizing several other large tracts of land with rich petroleum deposits.

What struck me the most was that Jacob Rothschild was involved. To see that Cheney and Murdock, two bedrocks of conservative USA are involved with one(probably all) of the Rothschilds is intriguing when one looks at/investigates the history of the Rothschild family from the 1700s. This is a family of bankers shunned by Presidents Jackson, Lincoln and Kennedy. To know the family’s involvement in wars and nation building including the so called USA federal reserve bank is an enlightenment as to where we are and how we as a Nation got to where we are.

"Israel has granted a U.S. company the first license to explore for oil and gas in the occupied Golan Heights, John Reed of the Financial Times reports."
"Occupied?" Dishonest and anti-Israel choice of word. The Financial Times is a Brit publication. Business Insider is based in New York. But by some of its content in many articles, it appears to be related in some ways.
