Premiums for such insurance range from around $200 to $300 per year; in general, the coverage is narrowly written and excludes cases where a gun is used to commit a crime.

driving is a priveledge, owning a gun in a right.

You can’t tax guns, anymore than you can take speech, it’s unconstitutional.

I believe that if we get the private sector and insurance companies involved in gun safety, we can help prevent a number of gun tragedies every year,” said David P. Linsky, a Democratic state representative

As with ALL things democRAT, no facts, just feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelings.

A list of who owns what firearms in insurance company records will be soon in government hands.

Something really radical is planned that requires disarming the majority of the population.

obama promised to “transform’ the U.S.; I think Zimbabwe is his model.

Sounds like a great way to build a back-door gun registry.

Hmmmmmm.

No mention that this would be defacto registration.

Do they suppose nobody will notice?

So how are they going to make crooks buy “firearm insurance,” eh?
And, if they won’t buy, what is the point?

Lawmakers are going to start needing insurance, if you get my drift.

Yes I’m sure that all the violent ghetto thugs will run out and purchase a policy before they rob the next 7/11. :-)

Drawing parallels with owning guns and owning cars is just stupid. Drivers will be mighty upset at all the new laws, regulations, and fees they would now have to deal with.

This could be very costly to folks who have a large number of guns that were not lost in boating accidents. This could be really bad for me.

I always said they wouldn’t take our guns directly door to door, but would tax and regulate guns and ammunition until they are no longer affordable by most people.

That is the plan and they are going full bore to execute the plan.

Sounds like these assclowns need to read “shall not be infringed” again, if they’ve EVER read it....

Let me guess: 99% of these jerks are DEMOCRATS.

If it:

Looks like an infringement.

Smells like an infringement.

Feels like an infringement.

Has the effect of an infringement.

Then it must be an infringement.

These gun grabbing sons of witch’s are a determined lot.

They will use any excuse, any ruse to screw over gun owners.

They will eventually win. Almost any law can be passed if you keep bringing it up year after year after year.

The stupid ignorant fools aren’t smart enough to realise that they are playing into the hands of tyrants.
