The following is what passes for entertainment on NBC. Saturday Night Live aired this sketch last night just four days into Lent.
The segment was a fake movie trailer depicting a Quentin Tarantino-style Jesus returning to get revenge. Its called, Djesus Uncrossed.
Critics are calling it a less violent Passion of the Christ, the announcer said. I never knew how much Jesus used the N-word.
The trailer featured Jesus and the Apostles gunning down scores of Romans. At one point the Jesus character slices a mans head in half.

Way ahead of you by about 5 years now. The only time I hear of this kind of crap that's sold as "entertainment", is from y'all at FR discussing it.
Bravo!
I bet Obama and Hillary take to the airwaves any minute now to condemn this “offensive” and “reprehensible” video.

Ah, that was very nice. Thank you so much.
That is how it always starts.
In Nazi Germany the cartoons papers of greedy, hook-nosed Jews and the stereotypical greedy Jew in the movies were followed not long after by yellow armbands with the star of David being passed out.
How long will it be before white armbands with red crosses are passed out to be followed shortly after by herding onto the next train out of town.
Seems like most movies Hollywood these days are remakes of “Jud Suss” only targeting conservatives.
God will not be mocked.
You said it all so perfectly.
It’s not even original. Anyone remember “Gandhi 2” from UHF?

Hold all calls, please, hold all calls -- we have a winner.
The Nazis passed a law forbidding Jews to own any firearm. The police began collecting them immediately, and eventually the Berlin Constabulary reported that it had taken some 4000 firearms and 20,000 rounds of ammunition from Berlin Jews.
The Kristallnacht went down two weeks later.
It was already tried, namely the Half-Hour News Hour.
It flopped, IIRC.
The problem I have with packages from a cable or satellite provider is the fact that liberal media gets their cut of your monthly payment.
For that reason alone, I dropped direct-TV after being a customer for almost 15 years. I now have Netflix and Roku. Dropped Beck after he lost it after the election. I'll probably pick him back up soon, lately he seems to be more in sync with the issues of the day, and not more-on-trival BS.
15MB cable Internet with unlimited nationwide phone service is $45 a month here, Netflix is about $10 a month, the Roku device was a one time $75 purchase, and my son got me a 60" LCD for Xmas. Between that, redbox, Youtube, and local channels free for weather and local news; keeps me pretty entertained and informed - not to mention FR! ;)
There are other channels (like those you mentioned) I would add if they were available over the Internet or through some alacarte service.
For now, I'm dedicated to ensuring the freaking MSM doesn't get a damn dime of mine, not now or ever again! That's just me...
Skits about liberals write themselves. Not only are liberal skits about conservatives not funny, but most of the time they are forced, run on too long and most of the time arent true to start with.
The old SNL skits about Ronald Reagan were petty and hateful. There was one skit that was funny but I think it was on the short lived “Fridays” SNL clone. There were two incompetent secret service agents who kept annoying President Reagan. One of them might have been played by “Squiggy” from Laverne and Shirly.
Deep down they know that genuine believing Christians are stronger and more secure with their faith than any stripe of Liberal, including militant feminists, militant Muslims, Hollywood moral relativists, radical GLBT activists, quasi socialists and communists and the federal govt in general. Among Christians who are truly confident in what they believe, the worst they will do is turn the TV off and disallow it in their own homes. They by and large won’t even be calling for eliminating the 1st Ammendment for these SNL blowhards, much less advocate for physical violence.
I thought the whole thing was funny. It was poking fun at Tarantino and his anti-historical style. “Samuel L. Jackson as Pontius Pilate” and “I never knew Jesus used the N-word so much” were funny too.
“The morons at SNL would of course never dream of mocking the prophet Mohammed”
Because they are cowards.
That’s how I took it.
