Sarah Palin tries to stay relevant (WaPo falls for internet hoax)
Washington Post ^ | February 12, 2013 | Suzi Parker

Posted on 02/12/2013 8:32:45 AM PST by rightwingintelligentsia

CORRECTION: An earlier version of this post incorrectly reported that Sarah Palin planned to contribute to the Al Jazeera America news network. The erroneous report was based on a fictionalized story in The Daily Currant, a news satire Web site.

The Sarah Palin Story is a cautionary tale about what can happen when politics and celebrity meet.

Fox News and their once-upon-a-time darling Palin recently parted ways after three years. But it appears that Palin is still trying to find ways to stay relevant while her 15 minutes fades into the political history books.

On Monday morning, Palin posted a message via Facebook that she and her husband, Todd, planned to attend Monday’s memorial service for slain Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle. After the service, she wrote on her page, “It was a beautiful memorial service for Chris Kyle at Cowboys Stadium this afternoon. What a celebration of a great life! All in all, is there a finer human being who has crossed the 50-yard line star in Texas than Chris Kyle?” She then linked to a way to honor Kyle. She also thanked her followers for recent birthday wishes.

Above, Suzi Parker: The hate festering inside this mean-spirited, chubby creature seeps through from the blackness of heart and lets the ugly out. The contrast between that vile writer of lies and Sarah Palin, inwardly and outwardly, is self-evident:

Ah, you beat me to it. Be warned, though, Suzi Parker is blocking people using that hashtag... I know you’ll all be broken-hearted if that happens to you.

I don’t know whether or not Sarah will be a player but I do know she is laughing all the way to the bank

As stupid as she is ugly.

"CORRECTION: An earlier version of this post incorrectly reported that Sarah Palin had signed on as a contributor to the Al Jazeera America news network. The blogger cited a report on the Daily Currant Web site as the basis for that information without realizing that the piece was satirical."

"Without realizing"? The Daily Currant 'story' right above the Palin item is, "Glenn Beck Calls 911 After Accidentally Eating Halal Pizza" - and the site's About page begins, "The Daily Currant is an English language online satirical newspaper". How do you miss this - and go to press with such a remarkable 'fact' without seeking a confirming source - while having enough gray matter to breathe?

How do you miss this

By assuming anything that fits your preconceived notions (narrative) must be true, therefore no need to check it out.

The Daily Currant is often the source of fake stories like this one because they suck at writing satire. Their stuff isn't funny.

A Democrat Ungergroud thread title...

Daily Currant: Scalia Calls Homosexuality ‘Unamerican’

article excerpt...

U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia is under fire today for controversial statements regarding LGBT rights.

In a speech to the conservative Federalist Society, the aging judicial firebrand claimed that homosexuality was ‘unnatural’ and ‘unamerican’ and suggested states should have the right to ban it under the 10th amendment.

The explosive remarks come just days after the high court agreed to hear two cases that might finally decide the question of whether gays in the United States have the constitutional right to marry. If Scalia’s speech is any indication, however, marriage equality won't be getting his vote when the case is decided:

“Certain countries have long histories of homosexuality. France, for example, has been a haven for queers since Charlemagne. And Australia was pretty much a bath house from day one - the English didn't send enough women for the convicts.”

Out of the 9 comments posted, only 1 realized it was satire...now there are 8 brain dense Dems all in a FB/Twitter, accusing Scalia of something that never happened.

Please leave satire to the professionals

Just looked at her previous blog about Hillery: “One thing is certain – no one in American politics has her resume. She is every woman – political spouse, mother, lawyer, first lady, U.S. senator and Secretary of State. She can see Washington – and the world – through a prism unlike anyone else”.

Has the Washington Post or New York Times EVER fallen for a hoax that made a Dem look bad?

The answer is: NO.

It’s a sign of media bias and hatred for traditional Americans.

“Classic media pavlovian response. They’ll bite at anything that diminishes Palin’s influence in the public square.”

Too many Republicans did the same thing.

Someone should remind moonbat Suzi Q that Bill and Hill had the FBI files of 900+ Republicans in their possession during the Clinton’s White House years.

Charles Colson went to prison for having just one FBI file of a democrat in his possession during the Watergate era.

Madame Hillary’s resume should include a stint in federal prison.

Suzi is the fat one...

In my post a few prior to this, in spirit of Christian charity, I was kind and referred to her merely as "chubby". I did consider using the term "big boned" to describe this Suzi Parker creature. But truthfully, just plain fat is what she is.

I saw her on one of the book shows on C-SPAN and actually thought dumpy, frumpy little Suzi was borderline obese. In any event, she's an ugly, evil little ball of hate. She obviously never learned much since most Southern-bred women are gracious, beautiful and well-mannered.
