Rove Declares War on Tea Party
Big Government ^ | February 3, 2013 | Ben Shapiro

The battle for the heart and soul of the Republican Party has begun. On one side is the Tea Party. On the other side stands Karl Rove and his establishment team, posing as tacticians while quietly undermining conservatism.

Yesterday, the New York Times reported that the “biggest donors in the Republican Party” have joined forces with Karl Rove and Steven J. Law, president of American Crossroads, to create the Conservative Victory Project. The Times reports that this new group will dedicate itself to “recruit seasoned candidates and protect Senate incumbents from challenges by far-right conservatives and Tea Party enthusiasts who Republican leaders worry could complicate the party’s effort to win control of the Senate.” The group points to candidates like Christine O’Donnell in Delaware and Richard Mourdock in Indiana as examples of Tea Party primary picks going sideways in major Senatorial battles.

Karl Rove is a man of very unusual genius.

No other person in American Marketing History has had such large budgets that have produced so little in tangible or positive result. He is also endowed with the unique ability to take candidates with commanding leads and turn their campaigns into exciting cliff-hangers, which more often than not, they lose. Gosh, so many Rove stories. How about that time he placed millions of campaign funds with a Democrat controlled ad agency who made GW the worst set of TV commercials ever seen, and that immediately reported every strategic media move to the DNC?

Karl, a high school dropout, refers to himself as an idiot savant. So far, we have definitive proof of the idiot but nothing of the savant.

But then again, these are highly abstruse technical grounds for disliking the man. How about that he is demonstrably a no-good SOB, a disloyal and entirely unprincipled dog, a jerk who would sell his mother and deliver, and the man who swears up and down that "Mexicans are the Republicans of the Future?

It is time for the GOP to die. If you need proof, consider that the RNC STILL has complete faith in Rove, as does Hair-Do Hannity who insists upon calling him "The Architect." Well, WTF, even the Titanic had an architect.

Why does anyone listen to this loser? His advice to GWB is what began the destruction of the Republican party

In his political movie "W", director-producer Oliver Stone assigned a line to actor Richard Dreyfuss (playing Rove) that basically said Rove is a closeted homosexual.

There are about three or four levels of deceit and concealment in such a claim, but it happens to describe Rove's politics since about 1996 ... since 43 was governor of Texas and throughout his term of office, Dubya was overwhelmingly kind and solicitous toward homosexuals and the homolobby. The only issue he broke with them on, was the DOMA dispute, when the Manor Bush walked away from them. In 2004, moreover, Rove used down-ballot "defense of marriage" referenda to turn out conservative voters to defeat the abominable Kerry.

The rest of the time, it's been wine and roses. This needs an explanation, since homosexuals are one of the core constituencies of the Democrat Party since the 1980's.

You’re presuming he WANTS to win.

Your Point? Is it that people with LARGE egos, like Rove, like entering into debate in the public arena to diminish themselves?

Amen.

Rove is the leader of the big-government, socially liberal, GOP-e RINO herd! He sees tea party conservatives as an enemy.

FR took a helluva risk during the primaries bucking these guys and we got hit pretty hard membership wise, but unfortunately, we were right all along. Rove/Romney and the GOP-e liberals lost anyway and now the battle is just beginning for the heart and soul of the Republican Party. If RINO Rove and Co maintain their leadership positions, the party will be dead to conservatives. We have no voice in the GOP!!

FR and the tea party must rise up against these establishment RINOS!! Our Liberty depends upon it.

Don’t give up the ship!! We have not yet begun to fight!!

GOP =

Giving
Obama a
Pass

John Boehner, Carl Rove, Mitch McConnell, John McCain and countless other's are to thank for that monicker.

As for me, I haven't claimed to be a Republican since 1991 when "read my lips, no new taxes" became a broken promise. The entire GOP/GOP-e (same thing in my book) can kiss my Conservative backside.

IMO, all right-thinking Conservatives left long ago. The Tea Party's a good start, it needs to be taken to the next level. I'll be one of those helping it.

As someone mentioned, Rove is just the figurehead.

He’s being paid, and as such, will do what he’s told. Even if it means running a Vichy movement.

Rove and the GOP elite are just as much an enemy as Obama.

And I would point to John McCain and Mitt Romney going down in presidential campaigns

Cha. And he sees TEA Party Conservatives as a MUCH bigger enemy than Communists, Socialists, and Liberals (aka Democrats).

I rue the day I ever had ONE NICE THING to say about that jackwagon.

According to the NYT’s article, ROVE and his cohorts may first target Steve King of Iowa as “unacceptable.”

We’ve been right all along.

We have to fight Rove and his evil GOP-E, TEA Party-hating Moderates!

God Bless Us All!

In my opinion there are no conservatives that make it to political office anymore. Through all the institutions in our nation, the leftists have cemented themselves into places of authority. The effort that the left has gone to is immense and will not be suddenly overcome by the rather substantial group of outsiders that now have no recourse but to defy “edicts”.

“Not hot but thought” is a very difficult concept to teach conscripts that have been taught cradle to now that the government is their king and that they now recognize is superfluous. We can use thought as a weapon only when there is a paradigm established that Gods words must be followed.

Love the Lord thy God and follow his commandments only makes sense when taught in the context of people and governments. What is going on now is nothing like that.

How, pray tell, does the all-knowing Mr Rove expect to win even one race while alienating a very significant portion of his voters?

Worked real good this past November, didn’t it?

The RNC is just the RNC, not the GOP. In fact, the way the party was formed was the simple act of creating a Republican National Presidential Nominating Committee (the predecessor of today's RNC). They invited organized elements of the Abolitionist movement and existing state elements of the Whig party to send delegates to an organizing meeting.

They ran John C. Fremont for President.

What we need is a NEW REPUBLICAN NATIONAL COMMITTEE. Simply form it and invite state Republican parties to send delegates to an organizing meeting.

It's up to the state parties to disfellowship the RNC.

I believe that Rove and the GOPe consider us to be a direct threat and the Left to be the ‘loyal opposition’ and just another member of ‘the club’. We must continue to work hard and at all levels, grow our candidates and not allow them to become complacent or bend to the RINOS or to the Left.
