Isn’t it a damn shame we have to tolerate folks that are so less unfortunate than ourselves? /s

"And another man hoisted an oil can of Foster’s lager..."

IIRC, those check in at 25 ounces. Well, at least it wasn't a soda.

They had to throw in the “bad as the ‘80s reference”....the dreadful Pres. Reagan era, doncha know.

Where were all these disgusting bums during the past four years? Doing what bums always do, but not being mentioned by the Obamedia, of course.

Jesus died for that smell....I have always remembered that phrase after reading a testimony about a homeless man coming into the Brooklyn Tabernacle...the pastor was overwhelmed by the smell of the young man...but in that instance..he heard the Lord speak to his heart saying...”I died for that smell...changed the pastors heart and his ministry grew.

As I recall, they had to flush out and round up all the bums so that they wouldn’t sully the view of Slick Willy’s double-wide Presidential Library and Whorehouse in Little Rock.

It’s OK for liberals to do this, why won’t Bloomturd?

Oh, yeah, he’s a Republican.

That’ nice that some woman thought more of herself than actually helping one of the hobo’s — I mean if 40 people bought an extra slice of pizza - and another 40 bought some blankets - and another 40 bought some essential bathroom supplies - it might make a difference that we leave not those that our less fortunate than ourselves...but no - I know welfare and the rest is a broken program - but it is what it is...I’ve done it here and there - offered those with help - sometimes they take it - sometimes they don’t...but it is offered...

I wonder what the “state run media” would do if a republican walked in to Grand Central and made that comment...of course - we all know exactly what would occur...but as long as it occurs on the liberal watch — nothing is said...pathetic...

As one who commuted for many years into Grand Central, you can not imagine what it was like back then, when it used to be open 24/7, and before the restoration. The place was like Calcutta, an open sewer. God forbid you had to use the bathroom. Assuming you could tolerate the stench, you'd see hordes of homeless, many of them crazy, half-naked, bathing in the sinks, washing their clothes..draping them over the radiators to dry in the waiting area . There were hundreds living in the tunnels around the station.

People don't realize the impact these things have on the economy, the life style of the city. The theater, concerts, in NY was long a joy of living/working in and near NYC. Thousands of commuters who worked in NY regularly went during the week. Your spouse would take the train in to meet you in the late afternoon.

Broadway curtains used to go up at 8 or 8:30. You'd have a nice dinner, in one of the many restaurants in the theater district, walk to to your show, get out between 11-12, then go back to your restaurant for coffee, dessert, a brandy,a and conversation, then take a cab to Grand Central, and catch the milk train about 2:30 am...sleep on the train, and then drive home from the local station.. a few miles. Funny, I also remember that the milk train would carry the papers, Times, News, Post, WSJ to be dropped off at the stations for all the morning commuters.

So when they closed GC, to keep the homeless out, theaters started 7 or 7:30 curtains, so that out of towners could still make the last train, about 1 am, but nobody eats dinner before or after the theater nowadays..Restaurant row, and a long enjoyable evening, is no more..

"“It’s nauseating,” said Yvette Molina, a Tarrytown resident, who was lunching in the concourse. “It’s really disgusting. It makes you lose your appetite.”

Hey Yvette! since you lost your appetite, give your meal to the homeless person who needs his appetite satiated! You're the one who's disgusting.

BTW, didn't Bloomberg a few years ago stop the churches from allowing to shelter homeless people?

The Post spotted at least 40 hobos in search of free eats and a warm place to flop.

These are not hoboes. These are bums. Hoboes work, bums "bum" things, like "free eats".
