This is just a small thing, but the “Dinosaur Media Deathwatch” is a bit out of place.
The American public is so stupid, that the media has more power now than they ever did. Obama says it... the media spins, transcribes and passes the message on... the American public believes it.
I don’t usually laugh at someone who just kicked my butt.
Trump will buy it for his campaign HQ...(s)
As some character on The Simpsons observed about Mr. Burns:
“He’s Evil. But he’ll die soon, so it’s okay.”
Al Jazeera.
That, or its the only thing of value Washington Post has.
Not at all. See below for why.
"The American public is so stupid, that the media has more power now than they ever did. Obama says it... the media spins, transcribes and passes the message on... the American public believes it."
A temporary situation.
"I dont usually laugh at someone who just kicked my butt."
What you have to understand is that the more they EXERCISE that illegitimate power, the more people they p*** off, and the more their viewership and subscribers base shrinks. That is precisely the source of the "Death Watch" counter power/backlash.
I quit watching any and all major media election before last. I'm sure you've probably quit or cut back as well. There are hundreds of thousands if not millions (I suspect the latter more than the former) doing the same thing.
"Having power" is nice, but it doesn't keep you in business/making a profit.
You just watched a political campaign based on the idea that you can use TV advertising in a few markets in a few critical states and win.
Alas, you still have to get out your voters ~ and they forgot to do that.
The only thing keeping the Washington Post afloat are all the subscriptions sent out to the drones in the DC bureaucracies, paid for by taxpayer dollars. Does anyone really believe that the ordinary residents of DC subscribe to the Post?
Cut off the taxpayer dollars, and the Post dies immediately. The idiot Republicans in the House are too stupid to figure that out.
i hear real estate prices in sudan are reasonable
