A mother says her 5-year-old boy was threatened with suspension after he made a gun out of Legos during an after school program.

Sheila Cruz received a written warning recently about her son from the after school staff at the Hyannis West Elementary School because he had been using toys inappropriately.

“She (the principal) said, ‘it’s a threat to other children and other children could have been scared.’”

School officials say little Joe made the toy gun, then ran around the classroom, pointing it at other kids, and making shooting sounds.

Cruz says while she and her husband thought about a new school for Joseph, they don’t think they will take the incident any further.

“It’s not the school we hate, it’s the actions the school took that we don’t like,” she said. “They made it into something a lot bigger than it should have been.”

The superintendent told WBZ-TV’s Bill Shields they have a responsibility to make sure the children feel comfortable and not intimidated in school.

“We’re trying to create an atmosphere of respect,” says Barnstable School Superintendent Mary Czajkowski.

Sad but the schools have been totally feminized and are structured to kill any motivation little boys have in learning. The Principal said it herself, it’s all about “feelings”. This is yet another example of why boys are failing in our schools and only 40% of current college graduates.

What scares me, and should scare every parent with child in that school is that these cretins are overseeing and influencing these young minds. This is the same methodology used to normalize homosexuality. Now they are doing the same with guns. Teach ALL the children that guns are so bad and scary that even a drawing or toy is terrifying and down the road banning guns and denying the Second Amendment is normal. These so called educators are the scariest thing our children have to deal with in school.

This has already happened with smoking. Kids would come home from school and ask the parents if they were going to die, only to find out that the teacher has told the children that anyone who smokes is going to die and scared the kids to death. Now it is obesity ...the kids are told that overweight people die early and if the child happens to have an obese parent, they are convinced death is upon them.

...but they WON'T teach them the health dangers of "alternative lifestyles".....
