There maybe some women that can do the job..but I don't think there are many. If they can...rock on, I guess.
My main issue would be the emotional make up of the ladies. The age of these ladies, in my mind, don't make them fierce fighters. Too emotional.
Now, you get an older lady like myself..I could cut your liver out and feed it to my dogs if my loved ones were threatened. But physical strength becomes an issue. Now, if you could mix the strength of a young lady and the lack of emotion of an older one..you would have a fighting companion.
What worries me is with the repeal of DADT and women on the front lines...how many true warriors will enlist.

Pregnancy already is a problem, combat or no combat, especially on ships and suns. I imagine their contract stipulates that they get booted and/or lose money should they breed.
It doesn’t really matter how big or tough she is. Burly men get raped, too, in the right circumstances. Being female ups the odds considerably, for obvious reasons (vaginas).

Great points. This is insane. They are attempting to completely erase any differences between the sexes. Men and women have different strengths. There is a good reason that woman are the caretakers and tender mothers of the young, God made women emotionally hardwired for it. And men are hardwired to be providers and protectors. (Though NEVER get between a mama bear and her young, in which case she might be the most fierce person on earth. ;) )

Have the NBA ( National Basketball Association) require 8 teams to include women... Each of those 8 teams must have a minimum of 2 women on the floor at all times. At the end of the season, we see how they've done...
OR
The NFL could do the same: cities - chosen randomly - would field teams required to have a minimum of 5 women on the field during all play.
Dems could place bets on the teams with women... to prove they're right.... put their money where they're mouths are... The rest of us could bet against them. We might not change their liberal minds but we sure as hell could take their money.
