ALBANY (CBSNewYork) The New York State Legislature was poised Monday night to pass the first gun control measure following the Newtown school massacre. This as the vice president was set to unveil federal proposals to end gun violence on Tuesday.
Albany lawmakers have reportedly ironed out the kinks, allowing them to enact new gun control measures in the wake of the Sandy Hook Elementary School mass shooting. Assuming the new bill passes it was sent to both house of the Legislature on Monday night it will turn into the toughest set of gun control laws in the country. ...
The new state legislation will:
* Limit ammunition clips to seven. Its now 10
* Force gun owners to renew their licenses every five years
* Stiffen penalties for using a gun in the commission of a crime
* Stiffen penalties for bringing a gun on school property
* New restrictions on the assault weapons already owned by New Yorkers
They will be basically not permitted to be transferred. They will be grandfathered in but not in terms of a transfer. There will be a registry, Silver said.

Regarding Exodus 10:22, the TANAKAH states in Ex.10:23,
People could not see one another, and for three days no one could get up from where he was; but all the Israelites enjoyed light in their dwellings. (Exo 10:23 TNK)

If they really wanted to take out the killers they would go after the assault cars. From the national Highway Safety Administration, in 2011 there were 32,310 people killed by them, in 2010, the number was 32,885. That's 2.716 a month; also more than was killed in Vietman which they have 58,282. So cars obviously kill more than guns, knives, bombs, machine guns, etc. combined!!!!

I was just teasing you in a good natured way. I should have used a smiley face. I definitely do not want to make you feel more down.

The only people who should remain as residents of N.Y. are those who will gladly and willingly accept being victims of crime. The rest should GTHO. Just don’t polute my state.
