He’s in Al Capone’s vault.

“Zerilli also wants a payday. He’s working on a book and has a web site”
That explains it right there.
Without remains verified by DNA this is just another geraldo Al Capone’s vaults.

There is probably a dead mobster in EVERY field in the Detroit suburbs... Better have some DNA.

Unintentionally humorous line:
All this speculation about where he is and hes not," Zerilli said. "They say he was in a meat grinder. Its all baloney."

Actually there are probably more dead mobsters outside of Detroit. The old timers around here have stories.

There's the mob ~ pretty much a modern invention, with plenty of Sicilianos and Italianos, and even African-Americans and so forth. Then there's the REALLY REALLY old, and original mob stretched out along the Mississippi River and it's major tributaries ~ and including Detroit ~ and environs.
It's called the Union Corse ~ and they are still there, even in Western Tennessee, Cincy, Pittsburgh ~ Detroit, Toronto, and so forth. Many of the old old families have married into the newer families so it's hard to tell who is who.
Detroit's suburbs are certainly a burial ground for mobsters all the way back to the beginnings of the fur trade.

Yes he did. And his loud-mouthed, punk bastard, fat-assed son deserves a head shot, too.

The prohibition era gangs were pretty rough. Even Capone chose to deal with the Purple gang rather than go to war with them. The Purples self destructed due to infighting among themselves.
One of my great grandfather did some smuggling for the purples in Detroit but was a low level guy who didn’t see or know anything....ever.

Im dead broke. I got no money, Zerilli told NBC 4 New York. My quality of life is zero. Sniff...that's so sad...NOT! Dry up and die already, ya f#cking old crook. Seriously, a mob guy wants sympathy because his life is sh!t? Sheesh. How many lives did THEY ruin?

From the linked article:
Quiet until now, Zerilli says he wants to set the record straight about his life -- and what happened to Hoffa.
Zerilli denies ever being in the mafia or having anything to do with the disappearance of Hoffa.
"What happened to Hoffa had nothing to do with me in any way, shape or form, Zerilli said.
OK...this joker says he was never in the Mafia, and further says that he had nothing whatsoever to do with Hoffa's disappearance. Hoffa's disappearance had nothing to do with him in any way, he says.
If true, then how could he have any firsthand knowledge that would serve to resolve the questions surrounding Hoffa's whereabouts? Is he trying to peddle some second-hand hearsay to a gullible audience, while he still has a chance to cash in on it, perhaps?
