Radio host and noted conspiracy theorist Alex Jones responded to Glenn Becks criticisms on HuffPost Live Friday, saying he is a despicable person like Piers Morgan who thinks his audience is stupid and has no ideological consistency.
With his sights set on Beck, Jones argued that he had promoted torture and taken all the stuff he has written and neo-cond it only to release it later under his name.
So hes mad that Im getting on hundreds of stations. Hes mad Im getting attention. Im not here trying to be numero uno like Glenn Beck; Im here trying to save our Bill of Rights and Constitution, Jones said.
Jones also found a conspiracy within Becks libertarian views. He said Beck only became a libertarian because he knows the Republican Party is dying, and because most Americans call themselves libertarians, he wants to brand it so that hes the leader and hes the head of libertarians.
Its Glenn Beck that has promoted torture, Jones continued...
Later in the HuffPost Live interview, Jones began screaming after getting a little too fired up about liberty.

When a Republican does it, people just see it as violent, out of control, angry and ineffective.
We are weak when we respond this way. I think pundits should know that. I think people like Jones are doing more harm than good.
I would support quiet scorn and ridicule as a better approach. Openly declare that the Left cares about themselves and their own feelings and are not trying to help anyone. Scornfully insult them, sure, -- but there is no reason to shout.
Sorry, but Alex Jones is a truther nut.
Jones goes on Morgan’s show and made gun owners look like crackpots. Someone like Ben Shapiro goes on and makes Piers Morgan look like an ignorant buffoon.
Everything Alex Jones does or says is tainted by his insane, disgusting conspiracy theories.
That’s exactly why they interviewed Alex Jones.
He’s right about some things but that doesn’t mean he’s the face we want out there representing us.
Would that include the day Jones called Michelle Malkin a "little monster" and a "piece of trash"?
I think both of these gentlemen need to stop attaching each other, and start opposing those who would destroy our Constitution.
Good grief.
Stop it. Both of you. Attack the real problems.
The libtards loved Jones when he went after Bush.
If Boehner sounded "passionate" like Alex Jones? He'd be voted out of office. And the same thing would apply to actual Tea Party conservatives too. You realize most people hear someone like Jones ranting and think "crazy person". And they'd be right too, Jones is a loony conspiracy nut.
Yes, I reiterate. Ill stand with Alex Jones anyday.
Yeah? So you think Bush authorized 9-11? You think George Bush is committed treason? You think the US government knocked down WT7 with a bomb? Or maybe you think Israel did it? That's the kind of crazy nonsense Alex Jones stands for.
Yeah he ia a bit crazy. I think he screams in debates and yells loud for show. Jones doesn’t let people speak or state his point rationally.
Hahaha, that’s the last mistake He’ll ever make.
Ditto
I don’t like either one of them. Both of them are in it for themselves. Beck can’t even decide what it is he believes in. Changes with the wind.
nutter/scamster attacks scamster/nutter! Heh.
nutter/scamster attacks scamster/nutter! Heh.
Well, Jones got that much right. :)
Jones is a nut trying to get attention. If you “stand with Alex Jones”, that makes you a nut, too. Either you’re a nut like Jones or you’ve never actually heard him. I can only hope it’s the latter.
