The good news is there will be plenty of ammo stores to draw from when LEOs refuse to play ball with Obitler. Not all LEOs and agencies are going to turn on their friends, and neighbors.
And it was all combat ammo, no target ammo purchased.
And it was all combat ammo, no target ammo purchased.
Domestic LEOs use ammo other than ball?
Anything that is going to be purchased by the government has to be recorded and published somewhere.
I can’t remember the name of the archive/publication, but I remember it would have contract info such as “acme company contract #1234 for 50 widgets over the next x years” or something along those lines.
So there should be data going back eleven to twelve years, and we can see what the trend was, and what type of ammo was bought.
And what company supplied the gummint ;)
If I recall, almost all the ammo purchased was .40 S&W pistol ammo. Good for police work & self defense, but not good for combat.
I can’t figure what they would need so much for. You would think if they were planning for an insurrection they would be buying rifle ammunition.
as if I trust anything rense has to say.....
That militaryphotos.net article is from
2004.
:)
“The accent is right for NC and the comment regarding roidheads rings true, but beyond that there isnt anything in the way of information that could be validated. Im in NC and havent seen anything remotely resembling a drone.”
The Pakistanis don’t see them either, until one puts a rocket in their hovel. Are you looking for them and would you recognize them if you saw them? Not trying to be insulting, just asking.
Many thanks for that info!
See my post above yours, do you know the name of the federal publication where contracts and bids for stuff get published?
Details would really help shed light on this!
And the other article posted was from 2004!
“You would think if they were planning for an insurrection...”
I wonder what the procedures are for entering a house of some old nut-ball type with his arsenal of six weapons and 1500 rounds of ammunition is? I was thinking a .40 pistol would be reasonable - but I guess it is SWAT types with rifles that serve those “no-knock” warrants.
Perhaps the pistol would be better to apprehend the extremist as he leaves his desk job of 28 years at the ACME Corporation before he can even get to his arsenal.
I wonder what the frequency of these events could be to not get people all riled up and cause an insurrection?
Yup, and it talks about the amount of ammo being used monthly in Iraq.
Yes they use hollow points. DHS uses Federal 180g .40 S&W.
Go back and read what I said.
Here is a link to an article about the ammo. Most is .40 S & W plus a lot of .223 rifle and some .308 rifle.
I still can’t envision a scenario when they would need so much.
Thank you.
