IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

Mr. SERRANO introduced the following joint resolution; which was referred to the Committee on the Judiciary
JOINT RESOLUTION
Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States to repeal the twenty-second article of amendment, thereby removing the limitation on the number of terms an individual may serve as President.
Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled (two-thirds of each House concurring therein), That the following article is proposed as an amendment to the Constitution of the United States, which shall be valid to all intents and purposes as part of the Constitution when ratified by the legislatures of three-fourths of the several States within seven years after the date of its submission for ratification:
`Article--
`The twenty-second article of amendment to the Constitution of the United States is hereby repealed.'.

Now that we’ve got people living in this country who want to do away with the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, why not just make Barry a king? We can be HIS servants instead of it being the other way around.
It is nice for Democrats to expose their real agenda, but it ain’t happening in the next four years.

Nothing to get elicited about, This bill is routinely filed at the beginning of each new Congress and per usual goes nowhere. In Britain at the rising of new Parliament a symbolic bill is debated to show independence from the Crown. In the US, a symbolic bill is moved to show slavish devotion to the executive.
Fixed.
Boehner has an opportunity to breath a little life into the pubbbies especially after his dreadful losses. Bring the the bill to the floor and let the pubbies reject it resoundingly.
There will be a third Obama term, but it will be Michelle Obama fronting it.
This Rep has introduced this same amendment at the beginning of each Congress in 03, 05, 07, 09, 11, and now 13. It isn’t going to happen.
I think it was proposed in Congressional session before the 03 filing.
While eternal viligence is required when it comes to protecting the constitution, this will go nowhere. Libs were talking the same talk during Slick Willys second term and that went nowhere.
Methinks this legislation would set the stage for a Democratic primary in the 2016 election run-up with William Jefferson “Slick Willy” Clinton emerging as the candidate.
Now, that’s a big ass claim....:)
Oh please. Obama will be old and gray before that bunch of traitorous skunks could get 2/3 of the states to ratify such a piece of garbage. Just have a look at the Blue/Red map from the last election and start counting. Never. Gonna. Happen.
