David Gregory to Obama: 'Is This Your Lincoln Moment?' Obama: "I never compare myself to Lincoln." Daniel Halper December 30, 2012 11:06 AM
NBC host David Gregory asked President Barack Obama this morning, "Is this your Lincoln moment?"
The question came up after Obama invoked the movie Lincoln when talking about Republicans and Democrats coming together to work out a deal on the "fiscal cliff.
"Well, no," Obama said in response to Gregory's question. "Look, a) I never compare myself to Lincoln. And b) obviously the magnitude of the issues is quite different from the Civil War and slavery. The point, though, is democracy has always been messy. We're a big diverse country that is constantly sort of arguing about all kinds of stuff. But eventually, we do the right thing."

obviously the magnitude of the issues is quite different from the Civil War and slaveryNope. It is exactly a civil war (fought by one side, so far) and slavery (state slavery)

Wait until Obama starts the American Spring David, and then ask the question.

Oh, really? Like running up the biggest debt in American history and having the longest period of 7%+ unemployment since the Great Depression? That kind of right thing?

Well there may be more truth than Gregory realizes. After all, it was Lincoln that turned the United States from a lose collection of Sovereign states with a weak central government into the “Hotel California” where you can check out any time you like, but you can never leave (the Republic). Obama is just the latest in that line of tyrants that puts the boot of the mighty imperial federal government on the necks of the states and citizens.

I had to turn this off. When the uniquely smarmy,
Iago-esque Gregory asked: “Why don’t Republicans respect you? What is it about you that they...dislike?” Obama didn’t have to take the bait because it wasn’t necessary.
Oh, Tim Russert! I miss you.

When CWII starts, before we even settle things with the traitorous, corrupt, POS politicians, we need to take care of the MSM. They need to feel it first.

Given that Obambi and his democrat synchophants wish to further enslave the taxpayers, I would say that he's the anti-Lincoln. At least in that respect. Time will tell if he decides to wage a hot war on the American people.

He destroyed the founder's republic - forever.
