My grandmother died from pneumonia... Not good.
Pneumonia is like a broken hip, it leads to all sorts of things that 9 out of 10 times leads immediately to kicking the bucket if you are over 80....

Best wishes to George HW Bush and for his continued good health. I have been recently socked with a number of bugs over the last 3 months (contracted from a co-worker who has a daughter in a Chicago day-care center and he was pretty sick for quite a while from all the bugs going around in 0bama’s old stomping grounds) and now I am almost over it - one thing that helped with stomach problems and coughing was in my case was making sure I ate broccoli - it helps suppress stomach infections and cancer and suppressed a nausea problem I had.
I’m sure GHW sees this like I do. He’s had a long and exceptional life, filled with achievement and fulfillment far beyond the experience of most Americans. There is no doubt that he’s lived a blessed life.
There’s every chance that his body has finally worn out, and is ready for final retirement. No shame in that. If that’s the case, then I wish him smooth passage to the next life.

And, I think a daughter is flying in from somewhere else. Where there is life, there is hope, but he has been sick now for a few weeks and his age makes resistance harder. I had my flu shot but got an upper respiratory viral illness anyway about four weeks ago..Some effects are still with me..Lots of folks around here have had this virus..I expect President Bush began with something like that..The elderly are very vulnerable during flu season.

Nope, not possible. Only W and Jeb, of the 4 sons. The other two sons have absolutely nothing to do with politics for themselves, never have, never will.
The daughter likewise.
Many grandchildren in the family so there’s that.
Jeb’s son George P is getting ready to run for office in TX so I hear. Haven’t heard which office.
His other two sons (besides W and Jeb) have never been into politics for themselves and never will be. Same goes for his daughter. Time to get real. All of these people are getting old themselves. Their life patterns are long ago established. So, no, what Revolting cat! wrote about the number of potential presidents isn’t true.
There are quite a few grandchildren. Of those, the ONE we hear is planning to run for office (here in TX) is Jeb’s son George P.
