Documentary-maker and liberal activist Michael Moore said the reason for mass shootings in the United States is largely due to fear and racism, and on Christmas Eve he pleaded, “calm down, white people, and put away your guns.”

So, some white-skinned evil maniac shoots up a bunch of white kids in an affluent neighborhood in Connecticut due to fear and racism?
We can say all kinds of bad stuff about Michael Moore.
But this is just dumb.
He’s not my go-to guy for reasoned opinion.
“White guilt” has gone a long way toward capitulation to communism.
MM’s just using the same tool that has been so effective for so long for them...
“If you want to keep guns, you’re a racist. Prove you’re not racist by giving them up.”
Well, he’s not entirely stupid. His comments:In his blog, Moore said that Connecticut’s tough gun laws “did nothing to prevent” Adam Lanza from killing 20 children and 6 others at the Sandy Hook Elementary School.
Tough gun laws “won’t really bring about an end to these mass slayings and it will not address the core problem we have,” Moore said. “Connecticut had one of the strongest gun laws in the country. That did nothing to prevent the murders of 20 small children on December 14th.”
He said a “dirty little fact” liberals do not want to discuss is that the “killer only ceased his slaughter when he saw that cops were swarming onto the school grounds – i.e, the men with the guns.”
“When he saw the guns a-coming, he stopped the bloodshed and killed himself,” Moore said of Lanza. “Guns on police officers prevented another 20 or 40 or 100 deaths from happening.”
“Guns sometimes work,” he said
But, then he screws it up again with this gem:
Despite those views, Moore supports stricter gun-control laws in the wake of the massacre, including a ban on “automatic AND semiautomatic weapons” and magazine clips that hold more than seven rounds
So, although he “knows” that bans don’t stop violence, we still need a ban. As many have said, liberalism is indeed a mental disease.
BTW. If you ban all semiautomatic weapons why would you need a ban on “clips” that hold more than seven rounds?

Well, he can’t very well RUN from an attacker!
One of the most important legitimate functions of government is the protection of natural rights from being violated by other governments or foreign individuals. The right of our use of force in self defense to protect and preserve our natural rights is a perfect right and therefore is moral.
Black males between the ages of 15 and 35 make up less than 2% of the population but commit almost 70% of all violent crimes.
Because of their rampant lawlessness, this tiny segment of the population is forcing decent people to think in racist terms.
Of course rational, law abiding citizens are going to arm themselves against this very real threat.
