Wow...yukky weather for you! We had high winds the other day, but all it did was blow over a planter hubby had planted beans in.
We need to come up there this year to gather all that fallen wood for another bonfire, huh! :)

Thanks for your prayers. We didn’t think my dad would make it through the night, but he did. It is so difficult but I take comfort in knowing he soon will be in God’s arms.
To: LuvFreeRepublic
Thank you for the update. Blessings to you and your family.

A Charlie Brown Christmas, by The Vince Guaraldi Trio was released in 1965 as the soundtrack to the CBS Christmas television special of the same name. It is among the most popular Christmas music albums of all time and the television special still draws record viewership each year. It first appeared on Billboard magazine's music sales chart on the week of 19 December 1987, some 22 years after it's beginning, when it debuted at No. 13 on Billboard's Christmas Albums sales chart. The album charted on Billboard's Christmas Albums chart each Christmas/holiday season from 1988 through 2003, peaking as high as No. 8 in both 2001 and 2002. The album also charted on Billboard's Top Pop Catalog Albums chart during the Christmas/holiday season each year from 1991 through 2003, peaking as high as No. 6 in 2001.
On 30 November 2006, A Charlie Brown Christmas was certified three-times Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America for shipment of three million copies in the United States having sold a total of 3,226,000 copies since 1991 alone. The soundtrack's longevity and staying power is remarkable and unprecedented.
A Charlie Brown Christmas was also the tenth best-selling holiday album of 2011, a year that marked the sixth time since 2001 that the album had ranked among the year's top 10 Christmas albums. As of December 17, 2012, A Charlie Brown Christmas was the tenth best-selling Christmas/holiday album in the U.S. again this year adding to it's increasing popularity. A Charlie Brown Christmas was voted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2007 and this year, 2012, the album was added to the Library of Congress's National Recording Registry list of "culturally, historically, or aesthetically important" American sound recordings and this year's "2012 Remastered & Expanded Edition", features 14 tracks, including two songs from A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. This latest reissue features the original 1965 recording newly remastered with 24-bit technology from the original analog stereo master tapes. Concurrent with the digital release, the 2012 album is being issued as an LP pressing on green vinyl and the limited edition will make a great gift for those hard to please old-school audiophile friends who already own every record album ever made.
For a project that was nearly shelved for fear by TV executives that it was not relevant, A Charlie Brown Christmas continues to grow in popularity. It's mix of secular and religious themes continues to break the mold of the pop music landscape. It's simple, easy listening, low tech jazz remains a joy of the season. A Charlie Brown Christmas, with it's wholesome messages has become a worldwide Christmas tradition and Vince Guaraldi's soundtrack with just the right mix of original music and time-tested Christmas classics ranging from Beethoven to Mel Tormé has become a phenomenon, often mimicked, sometimes mocked, but, never duplicated, sending the PC crowd and the Christmas haters into fits of amusing discombobulation.
Please enjoy this heartfelt and enduring Christmas masterpiece.

I think that the TROOPS love the banter. :-)
( Besides, I think that she is trying to get me in trouble with her fliratious ways as long as Mr. B is not watching! )
