Piers Morgan’s Glee
There is no silver lining to the horrific tragedy in Newtown — unless you count the glee of authoritarian gun-grabbers like CNN’s Piers Morgan. John Nolte reported yesterday:
Over the past 24 hours, Morgan has become increasingly unhinged over his pet issue of American gun control. Last night, on his low-rated CNN show, Morgan lit into a gun rights advocate, hysterically calling the man an “idiot” and “unbelievably stupid.”
No wonder Piers is so grumpy. Despite all the Hope & Change, this is technically still America so long as we exercise the right to bear arms. Only when we have been rendered defenseless can statist utopia be fully imposed. After the Connecticut massacre, liberals in the media and government became hysterically excited at the thought that here at last was the USA’s Dunblane (the massacre exploited by Labour as a pretext to ban all handguns in once great Britain). Imagine their disappointment when the useless clown Joke Biden was appointed to spearhead gun-grabbing operations — indicating that they will go nowhere.
Morgan just got fired over fake pictures of British military abusing Iraqis.

Piers was flummoxed to find out that violent crime is way up in Britain since gun control was implemented there.
It didn’t seem to register that significant school attacks took place in Germany after gun control was implemented there.
It didn’t seem to register with him that all recent large gun attacks have taken place in gun-free zones.
It didn’t seem to register that new gun control laws won’t help, if current gun control laws are being ignored to perpetrate these attacks on innocent people.
It didn’t register with him that Connecticut has very strict gun control laws.
None the less, the Left always suggests we’re just one more set of increased laws away from utopia.
What was that definition of insanity again? Isn’t it something to the effect of doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting a different outcome?
What was the first thing that took place once the attack on Newtown began? Hundreds of men showed up with guns.
And yet it doesn’t make sense to one person on the left, to have even one gun at schools before an attack.
Well Lefties, how’s that working out for us?
That’s right, lets do the same thing again, and hope for a different outcome.
1. More laws that will be ignored
2. Fewer people who can defend themselves
3. More dead people in short order

I had a girl friend who had a sister who was married to a German doctor and lived in Germany. The sister was going to visit our home one time with her children. She was going to fly to Milwaukee from Germany and then rent a car and drive across the state to our home in La Crosse,. Her German husband forbade her from doing so because it was too dangerous to drive across Wisconsin. People were being slaughtered on the interstate by gun-crazed maniacs at a terrible rate. I could only laugh at the ignorance.
CNN is just a puppet news network for the government like MSNBC. Since Obama and the left bought off a lot of the media then they can spew his talking points and hire people who are far left Like Piers.

Calling them insane implies the progressive movement's leaders have good intentions at heart. They have not earned that benefit of a doubt.
While many Americans who consider themselves liberal are irrational, totally governed by their emotions, there's no doubt they mean well. Their leaders, however, are flat evil.

Yep, I always figured he was gay.
They quickly become extremely angry, they allow insulting names and hurtful personal attacks to replace responding with the strong points of their own position.
They will answer a question with another question, usually invoking either a rather conspicuously resurrected appreciation for "the sanctity of human life" (obviously, we're not discussing late-term abortion here... ahem), or their perennial favorite catch-all straw-patsy: "...the children..."
What they never do is calmly allow you to state your supporting points, and then respond by reasonably adressing their pertinent and considered rebuttal.
They become unhinged because they are unhinged. Badly unhinged, to the point where they actually cannot see the phenomenally destructive if unintended consequences which would arise were progressives given their way. It is a phenomenon which hovers between willfull blindness and grand mal hallucination, brought on by the individual's self-produced pharmacological misfirings like those clinically observed in acute paranoid schizophrenics.
Hard left liberals are mentally ill, and should be treated as such.
