The White House rejected a House GOP proposal Tuesday to extend the Bush tax cuts for those making up to $1 million, saying it doesn't go far enough and wouldn't pass the Senate anyway.

The kenyan is planning on going over the cliff and blaming the GOP. That way he gets his defense cuts and tax increases.
I don’t think he was planning on Boehner agreeing to the tax increases in the Pelosi Plan. That is a sharp tactical move by Boehner and makes the dims look ridiculous rejecting their own plan. Not that that has ever stopped them.
This is all laying the groundwork for the real fight which will begin in January after we go over the cliff.
Sorry for the double post ...
The People have a back up plan. Just refuse to obey any law Obama has signed. He is not qualified to be president as required by Article II, Clause 5 of the Constitution.
Therefore none of us have to obey any law or executive order signed by Obama.
Its just that simple. Get it Boehner?
Its a great backup plan.
John Boehner has no shame! He should switch parties and “move on” as the Dems say.
How does one fight with no money? This will be interesting. Boehner just can’t give in. I’ve a sense Obo hasn’t a clue on negotiating, he just hates giving in to honkeys even if it’s a good proposal. heck, he wouldn’t know good from bad, they never taught him economics, thought they said,”ebonics,” and Obo said, “Hell and tarnation sonny I already splained t’yall I can speak the street dig.”
go over the cliff. Cut spending sharply and let the taxes rise to 70% for everyone and let the deficit ceiling go down
So the years of lecturing us on "millionaires and billionaires" was a LIE?
The House should pass it anyway. Force the Senate to table it.
extend all the Bush tax cuts except for the highest income and be done with it....say you don't have the dickators or the senates agreement about where to cut, so just raise a few shallow taxes on the evil rich....
you’ve got great ideas....
maybe this is the whole point...finish off the middle class for good...
