When I wrote yesterday about the liberals coming out against guns, I had no idea just how some people would react. What once would have been unthinkable to blast out into public seems to be becoming more normal via things like Twitter and Facebook. Below are a selection of Tweets that are clearly anti-Second Amendment and even calls for the murder of the National Rifle Association President David Keene, along with NRA members.

What would it take? Three military trained shooters with automatic rifles and a machine gun leveling off a meeting-house full of NRA executives and members. Don’t deal with a foot or a tail, go straight to the head of the snake. Of course, you’ll need a skilled extraction team with a chopper to get these righteous shooters away unharmed. But, they’d be national heroes, not villains.
Gun owners have been gritting their teeth for decades, relying on the soap box and the ballot box, avoiding the cartridge box, as the 2nd Amendment was being “infringed”.
Killing off pro-gun leaders or attempting to confiscate firearms would be a step over a very bright line. It would place every opinion leader and politician advocating gun control into the cross hairs of thousands of guns, not just the forces which attempted to confiscate the guns.
That “starting at the head” thing works both ways.
Absolutely, the same mentality. One of the first threads I ever posted here (back in 1998) listed quite a number of similarities between American 'liberalism' and German fascism - no doubt there are even more similarities today...
I have for a long time told people that leftists, despite their claims of peacefulness, are inherently violent. The comments you posted and the propaganda they spread is intended to dehumanize conservatives and create a popular stereotype. Given half a chance, they would not hesitate to murder conservatives en masse. They have created the climate and the psychology to enable it. They do not have the same moral framework or values as conservatives. They have drifted so far from American values they are no longer able to live peacefully with conservatives. I work with many leftist young people and their mainstream culture and values are incompatible with traditional American culture and values—think OWS, for example. Beware—the left has created a situation in which they can be very dangerous.
So, the propaganda machine of the left and its most fervent haters, are in full press convincing the American people that the sick monster who committed this atrocity was not to blame but that, by some bizarre logic, the NRA had something to do with it. The NRA, devoted to safety, training of LEO’s and citizens, and vigilant in protecting human rights, is somehow to blame for this horror. At the same time, the people who debase the culture and provide violent entertainment to fuel indifference to life, are not somewhat to blame?
Was this kid a member of the NRA? Trained and funded by the NRA? Or, did he play violent games, live in a hateful culture, and have no regard for others’ lives? Which of the above is correct?
Imagine a group of liberal anti-gun types going after the NRA mano-on-mano (so to speak).
They would not stand a chance.
The egregious antagonists should be identified as Leftists. While Liberals are indeed nutty, they don’t necessarily stoop to such criminal depths.
