Barack Obama wiped away tears at the White House as he expressed grief over the children killed in the Connecticut massacre and promised "meaningful action" to prevent similar shooting rampages in the future.
Obama has promised to act on gun control after earlier shooting incidents but subsequently done nothing implement any changes. Over the last four years of his presidency, restrictions on guns – in particular concealed weapons – have become more relaxed and gun sales soared.
There have been five major shooting sprees since he has been president, three of them this year. This one is different because the majority of the victims in the school in Newtown are young children, but the most recent opinion polls have shown overwhelming opposition to gun restrictions.

So does that mean that he is going to issue some kind of executive order? Because Congress is not going to pass some confiscatory law.

Kids of parents who are legal gun owners will not be allowed in school.
Obama is right we can’t let liberal schoolteachers foster the creation of mass murderers anymore. Dissolve the DEA and commie Unions. Now.
Every citizen with a brain can see that every time this evil happens we see lots of pictures of cops and swat walking around with their AR’s but they never use them. And there is a reason for that. LEO’s are investigators, they don’t get to the crime scenes until the crime is over.
Teach your children to act when evil comes to visit. Teach them to get out the back door or a window and to seek help at a neighbors home or a store. Anything but huddling in a corner waiting for evil to end their precious lives.
God rest these victims souls and may this evil bastard burn in hell for eternity.

If you are not already armed up and have plenty of ammo now is the time. Gun sales are going to go the roof I’m sure and they may be hard to get but don’t give up. I for one will never surrender by guns, in fact you will probably see me in line at my local gun store this weekend. I love this county and served 24 years in the military and I will not see it taken over by a bunch of communist who call themselves the democrat party.

I agree with you here. I will say that voicing this thought on a day when 27 born and slaughtered human beings are being mourned, is probably not a productive exercise. It will win nobody to your side, and will actually anger some folks who do lean in your direction.

In Florida and Tx we have a lot less gun violence where CCW is alive and well..of course except for the ghettos in the big cities.
If two of the adults at that school were concealed carriers, this would likely have turned out very different.
I’ve traveled all over Asia on business. Most of those countries have Draconian (by western standards) gun controls.
Yet there are still murders and mass murders. Just other weapons are used.
