Fox News commentator Steven Crowder has filed a complaint with the Michigan State Police in relation to an assault he sustained by a pro-union protester while attending a demonstration outside Michigans state capitol on December, 11. The protesters were demonstrating against the state legislature’s efforts to pass right to work laws in the heavily unionized state. Crowder joined the protests in support of those controversial laws.
The Washington Posts Erik Wemple spoke with Richard Hale, the shift supervisor at the Lansing post of the Michigan State Police, who confirmed that Crowder has begun the process of filing a criminal complaint:
By calling in, hes in essence filed a complaint. Hes initiated the process for the filing of a criminal complaint, Hale told Wemple.
Since the incident, Crowder says that he has legitimate fears for his safety as he is receiving disturbing threats on a regular basis.
Crowder recently tweeted that he has engaged the services of a former police officer to provide protective services for his wife. “Right now I have a former police officer, heavily armed at my house protecting my wife,” Crowder wrote. “The threats are severe. Prayers appreciated.”
I guess the BIG BAD UNION DUDE is nothing unless he has his LYNCH MOD backing him up. Crowder challenged him to a CAGE FIGHT instead of filing the complaint. They only let one on one in cage fighting.
Steven Crowder; The new Breitbart!
He has multiple names, but his address currently is 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
Any union criminal involved in this should be prosecuted as well as the ones threatening him and his wife after the fact, hopefully those cowards can be tracked down.
Sue the dbag and the union!
You do realize that the most this guy will get is probation? Exactly the same thing I got for a drunken fight in my youth.
Obviously a Tea Party lie thought up by right wing extremists.
The Unions weren’t even there that day.
/sarc
Tony Camargo. He is a Union Official, which means Crowder will be able to sue the Union itself, and they could get their clock cleaned $$$$$-wise.
Alleged assault? Well, I did see a photo of the union thug's alleged fist hit Crowder's alleged chin.
What mob family operates in Michigan?.
Agreed. But make him the “posterboy” for ugly Unionism
bullies. Make him famous, tee shirts, his picture all
over the place.
Actually his round house punches have exposed the ugliness
of his movement. MI won’t do anything, but the light of day
now shines on these thugs.
ALLEGED?????
We all saw it HAPPEN.
There is no “Alleged”.
What mob family operates in Michigan?.

The Teamsters, SEIU and the Teachers’ Union.
Patience is in order. But in this case the vic will surely claim the video is legitimate as was the assault. Would have been better if he had been treated by a medical professional. Have not read that he was? All this would lead to factual conclusion of the complaint.
Zerilli family for years. Now known as “Detroit Partnership.”
You may be aware that Steven Crowder gave the assaulter the option to come forward voluntarily for a MMA-sanctioned fight, with proceeds to go to the winner's charity of choice.
Apparently the assaulter didn't take up the offer.
With photo evidence this shouldn't be too difficult to track down the guy and prove what he did.
My guess is he decided he was going to lose, whether in an MMA fight or in the courtroom, and the judge's penalty would hurt less. And, as Cripplecreek pointed out, unless he has a prior criminal record he'll get probation.
The wheels of justice turn slowly, even more slowly when the one filing a criminal complaint is a well-known Fox News reporter, and the one committing the assault is a union official. This will be interesting to watch.
Prayers up for the safety of Crowder and his family.
So, if two people want to brawl in the street, and no one complains, it is quite OK with Michigan State Police? If I stage a dog fight, and no one complains in Michigan, then everything’s just fine?
