Can’t argue with you about where we are as a society, but at the same time, I don’t believe in making it easy for a sicko to do great harm. We don’t sell RPG’s at the 7-11’s, nor do I think many people believe we should. There have to be some limits on the degree of dangerousness of weapons that we allow the general public to possess. That’s what I think the coming debate will be about.

We have a gun grabber here!
Juno, your level of stupid should hurt, and be self-lethal.
Connecticut law doesn’t allow 20 year old Adam Lanza to possess or own said firearms he was carting around.
The school is a gun free zone.
What more restrictions do you want?
None of the weapons he had were full auto.
Full auto has been illegal since 1934.
Your strawmen don’t hold up.

There are already many, idiot. Check your facts before blathering off.
Had ONE administrator or teacher at that school been armed dozens of people would be alive today.
I would make one exception to gun laws: I would not trust anyone as dumb as YOU to have anything more powerful than a rubber band (and even then it would be the small kind, not the larger more dangerous kind).

We used to take our firearms to school so we could go hunting after classes let out...where were all the school shootings back then? Lockers with rifles never struck me as ‘odd’...

Thats what I think the coming debate will be about. For centuries children had easy access to loaded firearms which hung openly above the front door and there were NEVER situations like this.
The problem isn't the guns, it's the moral breakdown of society and the violations of our second amendment rights that result in a disarmed society which cannot protect itself.
If someone had been packing, they could have taken out this guy before the slaughter he committed. While it is true that someone still may have died, as the element of surprise was in his favor, anyone with their wits about them, well trained, and packing, could have taken him out.

There have to be some limits on the degree of dangerousness of weapons that we allow the general public to possess. Yes, let's pass laws that reduce the people's right to own any sort of weapon that would be effective against the armed forces of a tyrannical and despotic government, bent upon their subjugation.
Screw that!

After your inflammation of course but you have NO experience with evil. A 22 could have easily inflicted as much damage.
I was in “grade” school in the early 70’s and guns were never a topic. I wouldn’t be surprised if my principal wasn’t packing. Liberals are off the shelf cheap and stupid.

There have to be some limits on the degree of dangerousness of weapons that we allow the general public to possess. . . . My guns have been either locked up in my house or taken to the range and cleaned afterward. Never once has one decided to jump out of control and shot someone. You never see someone try a mass murder at a gun range or at a gun shop. You are just a liberal gun grabber. bye.

Right you are. RPG's are way too high a price point for 7-11.
Now Nordstrom's, Neiman-Marcus, maybe Macy's .....
