Leave it to legendary Walter Pincus from the Washington Post to flesh out a Request for Proposal construction project planned for Israel called Site 911.
The oddly named project will cost up to $100 million, take more than two years to complete, and can only be built by workers from specific countries with proper security clearances. Palestinians need not apply.
When complete the well-guarded compound will have five levels buried underground and six additional outbuildings on the above grounds, within the perimeter. At about 127,000 square feet, the first three floors will house classrooms, an auditorium, and a laboratory all wedged behind shock resistant doors with radiation protection and massive security.
Only one gate will allow workers entrance and exit during the project and that will be guarded by only Israelis.

Now it is about as much of a secret as Victoria’s.
Not much of a secret anymore.

I guess another good question is why is Business Insider broadcasting to the world with a bullhorn the US building a secret $100 million underground facility outside Tel Aviv?
Has anybody told the ‘O’ ?

They’re the best friends we have there, sure, but why are WE building this....?
It’s ridiculous and maybe historically unprecedented for a BANKRUPT country to be looking after the security needs of another country more than it’s own.
It’s silly —we are enforcing foreign borders, while throwing openour own.
Imagine Israeli troops patrolling the border next to Tijuana —ridiculous.
And why does that make a person, “anti-Israel”...?
Izzies draw within a micrometer of ending the whole problem, and we reign them in. These has happened several different times.
Then we turn around and do stuff like THIS —it’s like we’re deliberately engineering an expensive, dramatic crisis which NEVER ends.
We are flying off of a financial cliff, and this SAME problem dominating the news since I was a very young boy is STILL smack dab where it always was.
Why is this STILL in our threadbare, tattered laps?
This reminds me of when geraldo rivera was attached to the US army in iraq and started drawing out their attack plan in the dirt on live tv. no secret now!

“Theyre the best friends we have there, sure, but why are WE building this....?”
Perhaps because it’s an American forward base to replace the ones soon to be lost to Islamists in relatively close countries and to provide command and control for forward American operations while surrounded by arguably the best (per capita) friendly airforce in the world and a very good and friendly military force?
The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the desert, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent’s reach.

Why can’t these jerks keep a secret?
At the relatively small electrical sub-station and Admin. facility nestled in our suburban neighborhood they did “upgrades”.
First was a concrete and brick wall around the building and high-security fencing with a double-gated entrance with keycard. (Replaced the 4-foot tall chain link fence with an old gate that was never used.
Then they did a bunch of construction with trucks in and out for a year. I asked a neighbor that works for the trucking company what they were doing with so much truck traffic. The “basement” now has 4 or 5 stories underground!
I am guessing that it is a shelter of some sort for infrastructure type people and equipment. The major north-south gas line runs through the property as well. Either they know something we don’t - or they just took the millions of Homeland Security money that was handed out wiley-niley like the small towns that got million dollar SWAT tanks.
