Russia sent a detachment of ships of the Black Sea Fleet to the coast of the Gaza Strip in order to evacuate Russians in case of escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, a source in the main command of the RF Navy said.
"The detachment of combat ships of the Black Sea Fleet, including the Guards missile cruiser Moskva, the patrol ship Smetliviy, large landing ships Novocherkassk and Saratov, the sea tug MB-304 and the big sea tanker Ivan Bubnov, got the order to remain in the designated area of the Eastern part of the Mediterranean Sea for a possible evacuation of Russian citizens from the area of the Gaza strip in case of escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict", -the Agency's interlocutor said.

Gog meet Magog
Exactly. It’s all coming together fast, isn’t it?
It sure seems to be. Things seems to be falling into place....
Two things:
1. They need THAT many ships for how many Russians in the Gaza Strip? Are there even 25 Russians in Gaza?
This is simply trying to intimidate the Israelis.
2. I wish OUR country had done at least this when our consulate in Benghazi was attacked and the Ambassador and three others were killed.
Shows you which nation is a paper tiger, huh?
Seems whenever the Russians deploy a few ships they send an “ocean-going tug”. Speaks volumes about the reliability & serviceability of Russian combat vessels.
Arm-ageddon.
Har (Mountain) Megiddo = HarMagiddo = Mount Megiddo = Armageddon
Is this another post in Breaking, hit and run? Do you have an opinion today?
Do not today’s writers and readers know that a “detachment of ships” is a “flotilla”?
the only thing holding Russian Wessels (LOL) together is the paint
“more flexibility”
Why are there Russians in the Gaza Strip that have to be evacuated?
Leave them in place, just like the Americans did at Benghazi.
I suppose, with the caliper of writers coming out of journalism schools today, we should be thankful they're not calling them assault weapons.
The Russians always vacation in Gaza. You know thousands flock there during holiday. Great shops, restaurants, bars, night clubs, beautiful Mediterranean beeches. //sarcasm off//
Good time for Israel to practice Naval defense on some Russian ships
Guaranteed that the Russians will turn around and run if one of those ships are blasted by Israel. The Russians are a lot of bluster....but once popped in the mouth they turn around and run crying
Isaiah 31:
31 Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the Lord!
2 Yet he also is wise, and will bring evil, and will not call back his words: but will arise against the house of the evildoers, and against the help of them that work iniquity.
3 Now the Egyptians are men, and not God; and their horses flesh, and not spirit. When the Lord shall stretch out his hand, both he that helpeth shall fall, and he that is holpen shall fall down, and they all shall fail together.
4 For thus hath the Lord spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, he will not be afraid of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them: so shall the Lord of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof.
5 As birds flying, so will the Lord of hosts defend Jerusalem; defending also he will deliver it; and passing over he will preserve it.
6 Turn ye unto him from whom the children of Israel have deeply revolted.
7 For in that day every man shall cast away his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which your own hands have made unto you for a sin.
8 Then shall the Assyrian fall with the sword, not of a mighty man; and the sword, not of a mean man, shall devour him: but he shall flee from the sword, and his young men shall be discomfited.
9 And he shall pass over to his strong hold for fear, and his princes shall be afraid of the ensign, saith the Lord, whose fire is in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem.
