Ambitious, bright and a powerful orator, Jesse Jackson Jr. once saw himself following in the footsteps of his father and running for president.

I can only imagine what they have on him and his wife for him to resign.

“following in the footsteps of his father and running for president.” Phew, he dodged that bullet.
To: GalaxyAB
I don't know. Something odd in all of this. The higher echelon of power must be putting the squeeze on the Jacksons, etc. because this is unusual investigating a democrat especially black unless there is a cleansing of power going on and a message to be given? Anyone else think this is odd that Jesse Jackson's son is being made to cry in public?
To: knarf
And the son of the esteemed "Reverend" Jackson no less.
Something's rotten in Chicago.
FTA: "The Chicago Sun-Times first reported in October that Jackson was under federal scrutiny in a financial probe unrelated to the Rod Blagojevich scandal."
Don't you believe it for a minute.
Impeach the kenyan or secession.

Anyone else think this is odd that Jesse Jackson's son is being made to cry in public? Yeah, maybe it's something to do with that Blago/Senate seat deal. He's probably crying because the mafia's on him.

Haha! Just posting the same thing. Something is very odd about this story. This sort of activity that Jackson Jr. is accused of goes on throughout the democratic party. From Obama on down, but all of sudden Jackson Jr. is being held accountable. I believe that the cleansing of the Jesse Jackson power grab he has held on is now being lassoed in. The Socialist/Communist/Stalinist hammer is beginning to swing!

One criminal democrat gone, only to be replaced by another. No net gain.

If he had admitted the investigation BEFORE the election he would have picked up 8 or 9 more points with his idiot constituency.

I just want to know if he is going to be made to reimburse the taxpayers for his salary. He hasn’t worked since June or July and I understand he was still drawing a paycheck. How about a pension? If he’s eligible for one, take it away from him!!!!!
To: Thank You Rush
Pensioning him is much cheaper than allowing him to continue to vote in Congress.
I really wish obama was already drawing his pension as an ex-president and living in quiet obscurity..

His wife, Sandi Jackson, has indicated she wants his seat in the special election and would probably get it. However, today the announced that she may be added to the investigation which would thwart her election.
Sadly, everyone vying for his job is bad ... one is even his attorney.

You’re joking, right?
Here in Indiana we had Julia Carson who was senile for years and kept getting re-elected.
They would wheel her onto the House floor when they needed the vote.
She basically went from the House floor to the funeral home.

Yeah. Seems like the Party is purging the Trotskyites.
To: St_Thomas_Aquinas
What party? The people lining up to take the seat are all as bad as he is ... including his criminal wife.
You wer’nt expecting a Republican!

1 down, 536 unindicted criminal co-conspirators left!
(for those of you keeping count, that would be the remaining 434 members of the House, 100 Senators, President and Vice President.)
