President Barack Obama must show a willingness to cut back the healthcare reform law during budget negotiations, says House Speaker John Boehner. President Obama has won re-election, but his healthcare law is still driving up costs and making it harder for small businesses to hire workers. As was the case before the election, Obamacare has to go, Boehner writes in the Cincinnati Enquirer. The presidents health care law adds a massive, expensive, unworkable government program at a time when our national debt already exceeds the size of our countrys entire economy. We cant afford it, and we cant afford to leave it intact. Congress has a constitutional responsibility to conduct thorough oversight of the executive branch, and congressional oversight will play a critical role in repealing Obamacare going forward, he writes. With the Supreme Court mostly upholding Obamacare and the president winning re-election, that oversight and state actions are the only avenues left for repeal, Boehner says. House committees can go after various elements of Obamacare, he says. And state governments can do their part by resisting government-run insurance exchanges.

Now you're talking!
Do I dare get my hopes up?
Why? He won.
That's all Bonehead needs to know.
Ain’t never ever ever ever gonna happen.
NEVER.
It's only bravado.
It may not be repealed, but we’ve got to get this POS watered down. It’s already having massive problems with funding thanks to GOP governors refusing to implement state exchanges. And businesses are laying off employees left and right.
My prediction if something is done with this monstrosity soon is we will have “10%” official unemployment by the summer, which in reality is much worse.
We can NEVER, NEVER, EVER give up the fight on this. Too much is at stake.
It’s a headfake. Will never happen.
We’ll get the whole set of higher taxes if Boehner attempts to push this.
Please don’t get your hopes up
Boehner will cave
I think this is good because Obama already raised the stakes by raising his demand for new taxes from $800 billion to $1.6 trillion.
I wish our side could play poker with a straight face. Instead they play tiddly winks, giggling and laughing and craying and showing their hand at every turn.
Boehner will cave.
Look for the lines he has used in the past:
"We are only 1/2 of 1/3. What do you expect me to do?"
AND
"It was the best deal I could get."
Boehner is so full of s**t there is nothing left but rounds of laughter and derision following his public announcements.
Why does he even bother? He could just take his donors’ campaign contributions and do their bidding without all the BS window dressing, the means and the ends will be the same.
bump
Boner should resign. He is a cry baby, wus and sorry excuse of a real man. If he is the next speaker of the house, I will never vote for a Republican. He has the backbone of a jellyfish. He is a complete waste of human flesh. Do not ask me what I really think of his sorry existence.
I’ll believe it when I see it and I won’t hold my breath.
**WHO in the hell gave the damn order to NOT rescue our men in Benghazi?**
Tough talk but Bonehead doesn’t mean it. If he meant it he would simply not fund ObamaCare.
