David Petraeus ex-mistress, Paula Broadwell, left a female news photographer with a bloodied forehead Monday in a confrontation outside the biographers North Carolina home.
The 40-year-old West Point grad smacked the photographer with the drivers side door of her Nissan Pathfinder SUV.
I had my camera and in all the chaos the door slammed and I got hit in the head with the flash, said Nell Redmond, a freelancer for the Associated press.
Redmond suffered a small cut on her forehead in the incident, witnessed by a Daily News reporter.
The encounter occurred just before 2 p.m. as Broadwell, wearing sunglasses and a cream-colored turtleneck sweater, tried to avoid reporters and photographers by sneaking out a side door of her house in a ritzy enclave of Charlotte.

Looks like that photographer fell out of an ugly tree...and hit every branch on the way down.
Paula was just adding a litle color to her face. ;-)
If I am remembering right, the song was very popular in 1962. I brings back a lot of thoughts of that time for me.
And thank you, Third Person, for posting the lyrics.
I know, right? She let us down again!
Nice shot Paula!
Two points.
Thanks for the memories.
In fact smacking some dyke reporter in the face with her own camera kinda appeals to me that she might be deserving of a chance at redemption.
I bet she looks pretty nice in sunglasses and a cream-colored turtleneck.
reporters would normally write it as "SUV STRIKES PHOTOGRAPHER IN THE FOREHEAD"
My only regret is not being there to help the lady bash the presstitute with the door.
Sandy Berger breached by filling his socks and his breeches, and he should have been switched on his britches for eons it, instead of losing his security clearance for just three years.
That is a man. That’s the photographer. The reporter involved is a woman.
She (the reporter) has a cut on her head.
Awe you are right. It was a bland looking photographer
Yeah yeah yeah...it sucked then, it sucks now.
So then is that kinda like a chastity belt?
I was big into “oldies” when I was growing up in the late 60’s early 70’s. I had a bunch of records from the “Cruisin’” series (those were mostly 50’s) which were great because they included radio commercials from the time. I’m pretty sure that was on ‘62 collection but I’ll have to google to be sure. I don’t have any of my album collection anymore to look.
ah 1963 and it is on the Cruisin’ 1963 collection but I didn’t have that one. So musta been on one of my k-tel specials or something LOL!
